Peter Elliott is a Canadian priest. He is the former (retired) rector of Christ Church Cathedral and Dean of New Westminster in the Anglican Church of Canada. Elliott grew up in St. Catharines, Ontario. In 1976 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and philosophy from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. Subsequently, he attended and graduated from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 1981 he was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Niagara. Prior to coming to Vancouver he was Director of Ministries in Church and Society with the Anglican Church of Canada. In 1994, Elliott was made rector of Christ Church Cathedral and Dean of New Westminster. He retired in October 2019 after 25 years.
Bill Guest (1928-1985) was best known as quizmaster of the Winnipeg edition of Reach for the Top from 1962–1985 and quizmaster of the national finals between 1969 and 1985 when the show aired on CBC Television.

Well known for many years for his stories on CBC's The Fifth Estate, in 2014 he announced his retirement from the show at age 71. World Report is a Canadian radio news program, which airs weekdays at 5, 6, 7 and 8 AM, and Saturdays and Sundays at 6, 7, 8 and 9 AM, on CBC Radio One. It currently lasts 10 minutes and focuses on major national and international news, allowing the local and regional programming during those timeslots to focus their content on their own regions. The program's current weekday anchor as of May 7, 2018 is Nil Köksal, and the weekend anchor is Marcia Young. The programme began in 1958 as The World at Eight and was called The World at Seven, The World at Eight or The World at Nine, depending on the hour and time zone in which it was heard, until October 1982 when it was renamed World Report. It was presented by Rex Loring for over 22 years until his retirement in 1990.
