Jue Wang (born 5 March 1984, Shanghai) is a Chinese pianist.

The Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition is a piano competition taking place in Santander, Spain. Founded in 1972 by Paloma O'Shea as a national prize, it turned into an international competition in its 2nd edition, and was professionalized in the mid-70s, being accepted into the World Federation of International Music Competitions in 1976.
The XVI Paloma O'Shea International Piano Competition took place at the Palacio de Festivales in Santander, Spain, from July 25 to August 7, 2008. Twenty pianists, selected through three shortlists of candidates took part in the event. The Dresden Philharmonic accompanied the three finalists in the final on August 6. Both the Semi-finals and the Final were broadcast through TVE.

Paloma O'Shea Artiñano, 1st Marchioness of O'Shea,, is a pianist, patron of the arts, founder and current president of the Reina Sofía School of Music and founder and president of the Albéniz Foundation, which organizes the Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition in Santander (Spain).
The Albeniz Foundation, is a private non-profit organisation promoting classical music in Spain through the Reina Sofía School of Music, the Paloma O'Shea International Piano Competition, the Isaac Albéniz Library and Research Centre, and the International Chamber Music Institute of Madrid. The foundation is named after the Spanish composer and pianist Isaac Albéniz because he represents the renaissance of Spanish music at the beginning of the 20th century in Europe. The foundation is based in Madrid and has a permanent office in Santander.
The 17th Paloma O'Shea International Piano Competition took place in the Festival Palace of Santander, Spain from July 27 to August 8, 2012. Twenty pianists from ten countries took part in the competition. For the fifth time the First Prize was not awarded; Ahn Ah-ruem won the Second Prize while Tamar Beraia and János Palojtay shared the Third Prize. Beraia was awarded the Audience Prize.

In 1982 she served on the jury of the Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition. She was killed during the air accident of Avianca Flight 011. Rosa Sabater won the Creu de Sant Jordi Prize.
