Nachhatar Gill is a Punjabi musician and singer-songwriter. He was born to a Sikh family at their village Akaalgarh near Badesron, Tehsil Garhshankar, Punjab, India. Gill was very fond of music. His father was a kirtani. He used to sing along with his father at their village's temple's annual program. Gill got popularity with his solo song "Dil Ditta Nahin Si". His two religious albums are Sahib Jinah Diyan Mane (2006), and Ardaas Karaan (2010). He appeared in his first movie, Gal Sun Ho Gaya in 2012. He has appeared in three more films since then, the latest one being Jugaadi Dot Com in 2015.

Munde Kamaal De is a 2015 Indian Punjabi-language comedy film directed by Amit Prasher and written by Naresh Kathooria The film is produced by Prem Parkash Gupta with Starring Amrinder Gill, Yuvraj Hans, Binnu Dhillon and Mandy Takhar in the lead. The film was released 21 August 2015. Movie is produced under banner SRD Motion Pictures. Munde Kamaal De revolves around three characters who are blind deaf and mute. It revolves around their love life and the troubles brought upon by their disabilities.

Set against the backdrop of the waning British Raj, the film chronicles the love story of a young man and a woman, played by Amrinder Gill and Sargun Mehta respectively, belonging to different social strata. Angrej has Aditi Sharma, Ammy Virk, Binnu Dhillon, Anita Devgan, Sardar Sohi, and Nirmal Rishi in supporting roles; it marked the feature film debut for Mehta and Virk.
