Devon Sheldon Smith is a former cricketer who featured as an opening or top order left-handed batsman. He played for the West Indies and for the Windward Islands in regional tournaments. Smith is also,with a sum of 11,321 runs,the highest runscorer in the history of West Indian first class cricket competitions.
Daren Julius Garvey Sammy is a Saint Lucian cricketer who played international cricket for the West Indies. He is a two time T20 World Cup winning captain. On making his One-Day International (ODI) debut against Bangladesh in 2004,Sammy became the first person from the island of St Lucia to play international cricket. Three years later he made his Test debut against England,taking 7/66 which were the best bowling figures for a West Indian in his first Test since Alf Valentine in 1950. Sammy was appointed West Indies captain in October 2010. He scored his maiden Test century in May 2012 during a match against England. Sammy was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy.
The Super50 Cup,currently named the CG Insurance Super50 Cup for sponsorship purposes is the domestic one-day cricket competition in the West Indies. It was previously known as the KFC Cup until the fast food chain pulled out of sponsorship in 2008 and the WICB Cup until 2011. Afterwards it was known the Regional Super50 until 2014 when NAGICO Insurance became the title sponsor and it became the NAGICO Regional Super50 until 2021. In recent years it has been run in a condensed format with the group stage taking place over approximately two to three weeks,immediately followed by the knock-out stages. Trinidad and Tobago have won the most titles –12,including one shared).
The 2005–06 West Indian cricket season includes all domestic cricket matches played by senior teams with first-class status in the West Indies between October 2005 and March 2006,and also the international feats of the West Indies team,who is not scheduled to play any home games during this period but are to play home matches during April,May and June 2006. The season began on 2005-10-03 with the first matches of the one-day KFC Cup and is scheduled to last until 2006-03-19 when England A depart after their tour which will include one-day and first-class matches against the West Indies A team. The West Indies will not play any home Tests during their home season,but they have toured Australia,and toured New Zealand in February and March,immediately after the conclusion of the 2005-06 Carib Beer Cup,the first-class competition.
Sunil Dhaniram is a former Canadian cricketer and a former captain,who played ODIs and T20Is. He formerly played for Guyana from 1993 to 1995. He made his Canadian debut on 2 October 2003 playing against the Windward Islands. He made his ODI debut for Canada on 16 May 2006 against Zimbabwe,and has played 44 ODIs in his long career. He has also played for Canada in seven ICC Intercontinental Cup games,and represented them in the 2007 Cricket World Cup.
Leonard Alphonso Harris was a West Indian cricketer who played for the Leeward Islands between 1958 and 1971. An opening batsman for much of his career,and occasional bowler in his final seasons,Harris played in West Indian first class cricket,as well as facing the MCC team,England and Australia during his career. He played 27 matches,scoring nearly 1,400 runs at 29.04,including a century,and taking 15 wickets at 19.46. He then went on to play lower-level cricket for St. Kitts until 1976,and helped create the first cricket academy in the Leeward Islands.
Raymon Anton Reifer is a Barbadian cricketer. Reifer is a left-handed batsman who bowls left-arm medium-fast. He was born in Saint Lucy,Barbados. He made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team in December 2017.

Johnson Charles is a St Lucian international cricketer who plays for the West Indies. As a wicketkeeper-batsman,Charles started his ODI career against Australia in March 2012. His first T20I came against England in September 2011,and he became just the second cricketer from the island of St Lucia to play for the West Indies. Johnson was included in the West Indies' 15-man squad for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 held in September and October that year,where the team won the tournament. Charles was also a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup.
Tagenarine Brandon Chanderpaul is a Guyanese cricketer who plays for Guyana in first-class cricket. He is a left-hand opening batsman. He made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team in November 2022. He is the eldest son of West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul. He played the role of cricketer Larry Gomes in the Bollywood film 83.
The 1972–73 Banks Trophy was the inaugural edition of what is now the Regional Super50,the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). It was the only season of the competition to carry that name.

The 2019–20 West Indies Championship was the 54th edition of the Regional Four Day Competition,the domestic first-class cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The previous edition of the tournament was known as the Regional Four Day Competition before being rebranded by CWI. The competition started on 9 January 2020 and was scheduled to conclude on 5 April 2020. Six teams contested the tournament –Barbados,Guyana,Jamaica,the Leeward Islands,Trinidad and Tobago,and the Windward Islands. Guyana were the defending champions.
The 2020–21 Super50 Cup was the 47th edition of the Super50 Cup,the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The tournament took place in February 2021 in Antigua and Barbuda. Six teams competed in the tournament –Barbados,Guyana,Jamaica,the Leeward Islands,Trinidad and Tobago,and the Windward Islands. The West Indies Emerging Team won the previous edition of the competition.
The 2018–19 Women's Super50 Cup was a 50-over women's cricket competition that took place in the West Indies. It took place in March 2019,with 6 teams taking part and all matches taking place in Guyana. Barbados won the tournament,winning all five of their matches to claim their third 50-over title in five seasons.
