Juliane Elander Rasmussen (born 17 February 1979, in Odder) is a Danish rower. She weighs 61 kilograms, [1] and is therefore in the lightweight class. She lives in Copenhagen.
In the first race at the lightweight double sculls at Beijing, Rasmussen and team-mate Katrin Olsen were in third place behind Japan, but finished in second place, and qualified for the semi-final. [2] In the semi-final they came fourth (only the three best qualify for the final), and were eliminated. [3] Their class was later won by The Netherlands.
At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Rasmussen and team-mate Anne Lolk Thomsen reached the final, which they finished in fourth place. [4]
Sally Newmarch, now known as Sally Callie, is an Australian former rower – a four-time national champion, a medal winning national representative who competed at World Rowing Championships from 1993 to 2004 and a three time Olympian.

Róðrarfelagið Knørrur is a Faroese rowing club in Tórshavn, which was founded on 28 February 1985. The club has its boat houses on Skálatrøð and Evensens pakkhús in Tórshavn. The boats compete in the rowing competitions which are held every summer around the islands. The row boats are blue with a white line around the top of the boat. All of the boats have names from the Faroese ballad Ormurin Langi. The boats of the row club has won several Faroese Championships. One of the former rowers of the club is Olympic rower Katrin Olsen, who became Faroese Champion with Róðrarfelagið Knørrur in 1997 and 1999, before she moved to Denmark. Later she became Danish champion in a different kind of rowing; in Denmark she was rowing in a lightweight double sculler. In 2008 she participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics together with Juliane Rasmussen, they ended up as number seven in the Women's lightweight double sculls. The Faroese word for boat race or rowing competition is Kappróður.

She is a member of the New Zealand Labour Party.

Sanita Pušpure is a Latvian-born Irish professional rower. She was a back-to-back world champion in the women's single scull winning her title at the 2018 World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv and defending it at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Ottensheim. She initially competed for Latvia at a junior level, but she moved to Ireland in 2006 and began competing for her adopted country in 2010, before gaining full Irish nationality in 2011. She was selected as the sole rowing competitor for Ireland at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she did not win a medal. In May 2016, she qualified for the Women's single sculls at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Sanita is now head coach of UCC Rowing Club in Cork, Ireland.
Eve Macfarlane is a New Zealand rower. Described as a "natural rower", she went to the 2009 World Rowing Junior Championships within a few months of having taken up rowing and won a silver medal. She represented New Zealand at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London as the country's youngest Olympian at those games. She was the 2015 world champion in the women's double sculls with Zoe Stevenson. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, they came fourth in the semi-finals and thus missed the A final.
