Above the Law is a 2017 Belgian-French crime thriller film directed by François Troukens and Jean-François Hensgens. Frank Valken a career criminal, commits a bank heist with his crew, and is setup by corrupt police, for the murder of a judge investigating the 30 year old unsolved case of the mass murders of Brabant who had been duped into being at the getaway scene, and for killing bystanders who witness the murder.

It received seven nominations at the 9th Magritte Awards and won five, including Best Film and Best Director for Guillaume Senez.
Bitter Flowers is a 2017 internationally co-produced drama film directed by Olivier Meys in his directorial debut. It was written by Meys with Maarten Loix. The film had its world premiere at the 22nd Busan International Film Festival. It was later screened at the Chicago International Film Festival and the Palm Springs International Film Festival before its theatrical release.
