Playing career

St Helens

Sambou made his first team début for St Helens in April 2022 against the Castleford Tigers. [2] On 21 September 2023, it was announced that Sambou would be departing St Helens at the end of the 2023 Super League season. [3]

Oldham RLFC

On 24 October 2023 it was reported that he had joined Oldham RLFC for the 2024 season on a two-year deal. [4]
