Junior is the third studio album by Scottish hip hop and rock band The LaFontaines. It was released on 14 June 2019 by SO Recordings.
The band released single "Up" in the summer of 2018 before playing the opening set on the main stage at day two of TRNSMT festival. The song was played on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show on 18 July 2018 [1]
The second official single from Junior was "All In" which dropped on 12 March 2019 and debuted the band's new line up with Jamie Kennan taking lead vocals for the songs' choruses. [2] The song was released via SO Recordings also marking the band's first release through the independent label.
The third single from the album was "Alpha" which released to all platforms on 21 May 2019. The song quickly became of the band's most popular songs on streaming service Spotify gaining half a million streams in the first month of its release.
The album was released on 14 June 2019.

Junior was met with acclaim from critics, receiving praise for its more mature sound and special praise in particular for the records production. At aggregating website Album of The Year, [6] the album has received a normalized rating of 80, based on 2 critical reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews". Dylan Tuck from The Skinny awarded Junior 4 stars noting the band sound "... more charged than ever" [7] declaring that Junior "ticks all the boxes" [7]

Tool is an American rock band from Los Angeles. Formed in 1990, the group consists of vocalist Maynard James Keenan, guitarist Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey and bassist Justin Chancellor, the latter of whom replaced founding member Paul D'Amour in 1995. Tool has won four Grammy Awards, performed worldwide tours, and produced albums topping the charts in several countries.
Skinny Puppy was a Canadian electro-industrial band formed in Vancouver in 1982. The group was among the founders of the industrial rock and electro-industrial genres. Initially envisioned as an experimental side-project by cEvin Key while he was in the new wave band Images in Vogue, Skinny Puppy evolved into a full-time project with the addition of vocalist Nivek Ogre. Over the course of 13 studio albums and many live tours, Key and Ogre were the only constant members. Other members have included Dwayne Goettel, Dave "Rave" Ogilvie, Bill Leeb, Mark Walk (2003–2023), and a number of guests, including Al Jourgensen (1989), Danny Carey (2004), and many others.

100 Broken Windows is the second studio album by Scottish rock band Idlewild, released on 9 May 2000. While touring in support of their debut studio album Hope Is Important (1998), the band wrote and recorded its follow-up in stages. Sessions were done between May and November 1999 at a variety of studios: Air in London, Jacob's in Surrey, Rockfield in Wales, and Electrical Audio, Chicago. Initial recording with Bob Weston resulted in unremarkable material, by which point they switched to working with producer Dave Eringa. Described as an indie punk album, 100 Broken Windows has been compared to R.E.M. and Hüsker Dü.
Bullet for My Valentine, often abbreviated as BFMV, are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998. The band is currently composed of Matthew Tuck, Michael Paget, Jason Bowld (drums) and Jamie Mathias. Former members include Michael Thomas, Jason James and Nick Crandle; the latter were on bass. They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John and started their music career by covering songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John recorded six songs which were not released; two of these tracks were reworked later in their career as Bullet for My Valentine. A change of style from that of Jeff Killed John led the band to change their name. In 2002, the band secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG. The band has stated that their music is influenced by classic metal acts such as Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer. The band is part of the Cardiff music scene.
Puscifer is an American rock group formed in Los Angeles by Maynard James Keenan, known as the lead singer of the bands Tool and A Perfect Circle. Initially, Keenan was the only permanent member, and as such he considered the project to be his "creative subconscious". Later, frequent collaborators Mat Mitchell and Carina Round became permanent members.
The Process is the eighth studio album by Canadian industrial band Skinny Puppy. Released by American Recordings on February 27, 1996, The Process was the band's final album before it reformed in 2000 and released The Greater Wrong of the Right in 2004. Skinny Puppy's keyboardist, Dwayne Goettel, died near the end of The Process' recording, and the album experienced difficult production and record-label intrusion.
The Twilight Sad are a Scottish post-punk/indie rock band, comprising James Graham (vocals), Andy MacFarlane (guitar), Johnny Docherty (bass), Brendan Smith (keyboards) and Grant Hutchison (drums). They have released five studio albums, as well as several EPs, live recordings and singles. Their 2007 debut album, Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters, drew widespread acclaim from critics, who noted Graham's thick Scottish accent and MacFarlane's dense sonic walls of shoegazing guitar and wheezing accordion. The Twilight Sad's notoriously loud live performances have been described as "completely ear-splitting", and the band toured for the album across Europe and the United States throughout 2007 and 2008. Sessions inspired by stripped-down and reworked live performances yielded the 2008 mini-album, Here, It Never Snowed. Afterwards It Did.

Trick is the fourth album by Londoner indie rock artist Jamie T, released on 2 September 2016 through Virgin Records and Harvest Records. The first single from the album was "Tinfoil Boy", which was first played on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show on 29 June, and was released for download on 30 June. The second single from the album, "Power Over Men", was first played as Annie Mac's 'Hottest Record in the World' on 9 August, and was made available on streaming services the following day. On 30 August, Annie Mac also played 2 of the album tracks - "Tescoland" and "Sign of the Times", and on the same day Zane Lowe premiered the album track "Drone Strike" on Beats 1, which was made available on streaming services the following day. The album was released in full at midnight on 2 September.
Doom Days is the third studio album by British indie pop band Bastille, released on 14 June 2019 by Virgin EMI Records. It was preceded by the release of the four singles "Quarter Past Midnight", "Doom Days", "Joy" and "Those Nights", and followed by "Another Place". "Those Nights" was premiered on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe on 4 June 2019. The band played music festivals in the UK and across Europe from May to August 2019 in support of the album. An extended version of the album was released in 6 December 2019 with 11 extra tracks.

Fear Inoculum is the fifth studio album by the American rock band Tool. It was released on August 30, 2019, through Tool Dissectional, Volcano Entertainment, and RCA Records. It is the band's first album in 13 years, due to creative, personal, and legal issues band members encountered since the release of 10,000 Days. It was released to critical acclaim, with reviewers generally agreeing that the band had successfully refined their established sound. The album topped the US Billboard 200 chart, their third in a row to do so, selling over 270,000 album-equivalent units. The album topped five other national album charts in its opening week as well. Two songs off the album received Grammy nominations, the first single "Fear Inoculum", for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song, and "7empest", for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance, with the latter winning the award.
