Robert Allen McAdoo Jr. is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he was a five-time NBA All-Star and named the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1975. He won two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers during their Showtime era in the 1980s. In 2000, McAdoo was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. He was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021.

He was a two-time All-American for the Indiana Hoosiers, winning the 1976 Helms Foundation Player of the Year and helping lead the Hoosiers to the 1976 NCAA championship with a perfect 32–0 record, with Benson being named the 1976 NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player. Benson was the No. 1 overall pick of the 1977 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, playing 11 seasons in the NBA for Milwaukee (1977–1980), the Detroit Pistons (1980–1986), Utah Jazz (1986–1987) and Cleveland Cavaliers (1988).

His father won 298 games in 27 years as head basketball coach at Eisenhower High School. Bobby Frasor played at North Carolina from 2005 to 2009 as both point guard and shooting guard.
Justin Durel Ingram is an American former professional basketball player who is currently an assistant coach for the Toledo Rockets men's basketball team. He most recently served as the Assistant Head Coach for the Olivet Comets men's basketball team. He most recently played for Lions de Geneve of the Ligue Nationale de Basketball. He played college basketball for the University of Toledo where he earned Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year honors, as well as being named to the All-Freshman team and All-Conference first and second teams. Antonio de Andre Reynolds-Dean is an American basketball coach and former professional player, currently serving as associate head coach for the Georgia Bulldogs. A forward/center listed at 6-foot-7, he played college basketball at Rhode Island for 4 years, being named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year in his first season and ending his career with 1,576 points and 1,028 rebounds, one of three players to pass the 1,000 mark in both points and rebounds for the Rams. After going undrafted in the 1999 NBA draft he started his professional career with a brief stint in Argentina and then moved to the IBA where he led the league in rebounding and was named Rookie of the Year. He then played in Spain, mainly in the Liga Española de Baloncesto where he ranks top 10 in total rebounds and blocks. He ended his career in 2008 in Argentina and started coaching: he has worked as an assistant coach for Northeastern, College of Charleston and Rhode Island before joining Clemson. In 2015 he was inducted in the University of Rhode Island Athletics Hall of Fame.
Tasmin Olajuwon Mitchell is an American basketball coach and former professional player, currently serving as an assistant coach for the LSU Tigers. A five-star prospect in high school, Mitchell had a successful career at Denham Springs High School, being named first-team All-State for four years and he was a first-team Parade All-American and McDonald's All-American after his senior season in 2005. He committed to play for LSU and he stayed with the Tigers for a total of five years, having missed one season due to injury, and reached the NCAA tournament Final Four in 2006. He ended his career at LSU in 2010 as the third-best scorer of all time with 1,989 total points. After going undrafted in the 2010 NBA draft, Mitchell played professional basketball in France, Israel and Russia.
Erik Martin is an American basketball coach and former professional player, currently serving as head coach for South Carolina State. A native of California, Martin played one season of college basketball at TCU before transferring to Santa Ana College, a junior college in California where he was a first-team All-State selection. In 1991 he joined the University of Cincinnati, and with the Bearcats he reached the Final Four during the 1992 NCAA tournament. After going undrafted in the 1993 NBA draft he played for various CBA teams and abroad in South Korea and Taiwan. He also earned two selections in the United States national team: he won the silver medal at the 1995 Pan American Games and the gold medal during the 1997 Tournament of the Americas. After retiring as a player he has held several assistant coach jobs, mainly for Bob Huggins, first at Kansas State and later at West Virginia.
