Justin Stefan Swart (born 23 July 1972) is a former South African rugby union player. [1]

Playing career

Swart received his schooling at Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch and was selected for the Western Province schools team that competed at the annual Craven Week tournament in 1990 and 1991. In 1991 he was selected for the South African schools team and after school he enrolled at Stellenbosch University for a degree in physical education. [2] Swart made his provincial debut for Western Province against Eastern Province in 1993 and represented the union 93 times and also equalled Carel du Plessis' record during the 1997 season, scoring 25 tries for the season. [3] Swart also played representative rugby for Sharks (Currie Cup) in the Currie Cup competition, the Sharks in Super Rugby, as well as for the New Zealand side, Otago. [2] [4]

Swart made his test debut for the Springboks against the Fiji at Loftus Versfeld in 1996. At the end of 1997 he toured with the Springboks to Europe. In addition to the 10 Test matches he played, he also played three tour matches and scored 2 tries for the Springboks. [5]

Dean Bradley Hall is a South African former professional rugby player. He played on the wing. He played the majority of his career for the Johannesburg based teams, the Golden Lions in the Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup and the Cats in Super Rugby. Later in his career he moved to Durban and played for the Sharks in the Currie Cup, the Natal Wildebeest in the Vodacom Cup and the Sharks in Super Rugby. He was also capped thirteen times for the Springboks and scored four test tries. His career was hampered with injury and he never reached his full potential. He was quite large for a wing, but in the wake of Jonah Lomu's sensation at the 1995 Rugby World Cup, it was hoped that Dean Hall would become the Springbok's massive wing.

Marthinus "Tinus" Linee was a South African rugby player. Linee played predominantly at centre. He played all his provincial rugby for Western Province. He represented Western Province and the Stormers in Super Rugby. He played nine tour games for the Springboks between 1993 and 1994, but never played in a test for South Africa.

Francois 'Faffa' Knoetze is a former South African rugby union player that played two tests for the Springboks.
