Matheus Kristof Shikongo was a Namibian politician and businessman. A member of SWAPO, Shikongo was the mayor of Windhoek, Namibia's capital, in 1993 and from 2000 to 2010. He helped establish the Namibian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) and served on the boards of several companies, among them NamPower, MetLife Namibia, and Bank Windhoek.

Uukwaluudhi is a traditional kingdom of the Ovambo people in what is today northern Namibia. Its capital is Tsandi, a settlement located about 30 km south of Outapi, and the location of the Uukwaluudhi Royal Homestead. The homestead is situated about 2 km past Tsandi towards the town of Okahao. Half of it is of modern structure where the Kwaluudhi king and queen reside, while the other half is left in traditional Owambo style. The King now lives in a modern house, but the old residence complex has been kept to keep the homestead live, learn more about people's culture, traditions and history. When a homestead with modern brick-buildings was constructed next to the traditional homestead in 1978, the king and his family moved over, to allow visitors access the former royal home. Guided tours takes approximately 1.5 hours which starts at the front yard of the homestead, used as a reception area for people visiting the kingdom.
Shikongo Iipinge Senior Secondary School is a school in Tsandi in the Omusati Region in Namibia. Currently it has 442 students and 20 teachers. It was founded by Chris Iipinge, circuit inspector and first principal of the school, in 1985.
Rundu Rural is an electoral constituency in the Kavango East Region of Namibia. It comprises the area east of Rundu, one of Namibia's largest cities. It had a population of 22,538 in 2011, up from 18,250 in 2001. As of 2020 the constituency had 6,060 registered voters.
The Namibian Police Force (NAMPOL) is the national police force of Namibia. It was established by the Namibian Constitution and enacted by an act of Parliament. The Namibian Police Force replaced the South West African Police as the national police force of the country in 1990. Sebastian Ndeitunga was its inspector general since 2005 to 2022. Joseph Shikongo is the current inspector general. NAMPOL's functions are overseen by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security.

Reverend Juuso Shikongo Senior Secondary School is a Namibian public school in the Omuntele Constituency in the Oshikoto Region about 60 kilometres southeast of Ondangwa, which was in 2013 inaugurated by then Education Minister Dr David Namwandi. The school is named after the founder of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia 's Omuntele congregation, Reverend Juuso Shikongo, the school started operating from a sister school, Uukule Senior Secondary School situated at Onyaanya Constituency some 30 kilometres away, in 2011 before moving to Omuntele at the beginning of the year 2013. In his official inauguration address, the education minister David Namwandi pointed out that Government has spent N$120 million on the construction of classrooms, offices and hostels for the school.

The Botswana cricket team toured Namibia in August 2019 to play a four-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series. Lieutenant General Joseph Shimweelao Shikongo is the Inspector General of Namibian Police Force. He was appointed by President Hage Geingob on the 22 August 2022, Shikongo resume his duty officially on the 1 September 2022. Shikongo is replacing the retired Lieutenant General Sebastian Ndeitunga.
