Jwenga Seb (born 1978) is an Indian politician from Nagaland. He is an MLA from Tseminyu Assembly constituency, which is reserved for Scheduled Tribes, in Tseminyu District. [1] He won the 2023 Nagaland Legislative Assembly election, representing the Janata Dal (United) Party. [2] [3]
Seb is from Tseminyu, Nagaland. He is the son of late Shuni Seb. He completed his bachelors in architecture in 2001 at College of Engineering, Trivandrum, which is affiliated with University of Kerala. His wife is in government service. [4]
Seb won from Tseminyu Assembly constituency representing the Janata Dal (United) in the 2023 Nagaland Legislative Assembly election. He polled 8,096 votes and defeated his nearest rival, Longuseng Semp of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), by a margin of 2,563 votes. [5] [6] [7] Of the seven, Janata Dal (United) candidates who contested the Nagaland Assembly election, he is the lone winner from the party and he extended support to the government. Later in March 2023, the central leadership of the party, dissolved the Nagaland state unit, as the president of Nagaland JD (U) Senchumo NSN Lotha, had issued a letter of support to the Nagaland chief minister without consulting the central party leaders. [8] However, the party leaders congratulated Seb and thanked the people, and pledged to pursue development work. [9]

Abhay Kushwaha alias is an Indian politician from the Rashtriya Janata Dal, and a Member of Parliament representing Aurangabad in Bihar, India and former Member of Legislative Assembly for Tikari in the Gaya district of Bihar. An erstwhile member of Janata Dal (United); he won the 2015 Legislative Assembly election to the Tekari constituency by defeating Anil Kumar of Hindustani Awam Morcha, a political party led by former Bihar Chief Minister, Jitan Ram Manjhi. He defeated Anil Kumar by a huge margin of votes. While Abhay secured 86,975 votes, Anil managed to get 55,162 votes only. In 2024 Indian general election, he won the Aurangabad, Bihar Lok Sabha constituency by defeating BJP's four term member of parliament, Sushil Kumar Singh. He contested on the symbol of Rashtriya Janata Dal in this election.
