Early life

His earlier creations include the pieces Defloration, The Ruin of Hitler, The Revolution, S.G. Bila, the Comet. [1]

Celebrity Syndrome Series (2008)

"Celebrity Syndrome" was the subject of a solo exhibition at Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Art Gallery, Kozhikode in June 2008. [1]

"Our Concerns over Time and Space"- 2009)

This series premiered at the artist's solo exhibition held at Regional Lalitkala Akademi Art Gallery, Chennai in April 2009. Solo exhibitions with the same title were on display in August 2009 at Kerala Lalitha kala Akademi Art Gallery, Durbar Hall Art Centre, Cochin; at Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Art Gallery, Thrissur, in December 2009; at Vyloppilly Samskrithi Bhavan Art Gallery, Thiruvananthapuram, in April 2010; [2] at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai in Sept. 2010; at Kala Academy Art Gallery, Panaji, Goa in Jan 2011 [3] and at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, in Oct 2013. Achutan Ramachandran Nair was an Indian painter. He was born in Attingal, Kerala. In 2002, he was elected a Fellow of the Lalit Kala Akademi and in 2005, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian honour, for outstanding service to the nation. In 2013, he was conferred with an honorary doctorate by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.

Karuvattu Mana Vasudevan Namboothiri, better known as Artist Namboothiri or simply Namboothiri, was an Indian painter and sculptor, known for his line art and copper relief works. He illustrated for many Malayalam writers such as Thakazhy Shivasankara Pillai, Kesavadev, M. T. Vasudevan Nair, Uroob, S. K. Pottekkatt, Edasseri Govindan Nair, and V.K.N., and was one of the most prolific literary illustrators of India. He was also a chairman of the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi. The Akademi awarded him the Raja Ravi Varma Award in 2003. He was also a recipient of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Art Director.

Pratiksha Apurv is an Indian painter, whose work is based on her uncle Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (Osho)'s teachings. Before moving to painting, she was a successful fashion designer. B.D.Dethan is an Indian painter from the state of Kerala. A recipient of several awards and Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Fellowship 2007, he was a member of the executive committee of Kerala Lalithakala Akademi thrice. His paintings are featured in several private and public collections in India and abroad including, the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi; Parliament House, New Delhi; Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi and Raj Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. The Government of Kerala awarded him Raja Ravi Varma Puraskaram for his achievements in the field of visual arts in 2019.
