K. Govindaraj is an Indian National Congress activist and a member of the Karnataka Legislative Council. He is currently the first Indian serving as the president of FIBA Asia. [1] Earlier,he was the president of the Basketball Federation of India. In the previous Congress government in Karnataka from 2015 to 2018,he served as the parliamentary secretary to the Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah. [2] In the present Congress government,he is serving as the political secretary of Siddaramaiah. [3]
Siddaramaiah,also referred to by his nickname Siddu,is an Indian politician who is serving as the 22nd Chief Minister of Karnataka since 2023.
Kollur Mallappa,also referred to as Malappa Lingappa Kollur was the first President of Hyderabad Pradesh Congress Committee,prior to the merger of Hyderabad state into Andhra Pradesh. Haradanahalli Deve Gowda Kumaraswamy,known among followers as Kumaranna,is an Indian politician,film producer and businessman who served as the 12th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 2018 to 2019 and previously from 2006 to 2007. He also the leader of the oppsition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from 2013 to 2014. He is a current president of the Karnataka State Janata Dal (Secular),member of Lok Sabha and the current member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from Channapatna since 2018,Ramanagara from 2004 to 2009 and from 2013 to 2018. He is the son of former prime minister of India &former Chief Minister of Karnataka H. D. Deve Gowda.
Jagadish Shivappa Shettar is an Indian politician,who served as the 15th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 2012 to 2013. He is currently serving as Member of Karnataka Legislative Council. Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road is an elevated interchange metro station on the North-South corridor of the Green Line and the East-West corridor of the upcoming Yellow Line of Namma Metro serving the 5th and 8th Block of Jayanagar area of Bangalore,India. Bajpe Abdul Khader Mohiddin was an Indian politician and community activist in Beary. In 1978,he was elected as a member of the Legislative Assembly in India from the Barnwal constituency. Mohiddin was also a member of the Legislative Council from 1990 to 2002. Mohiddin was also the 'chief whip' in the Legislative Council from 1994 to 1995. He later went on to become the Minister for Higher Education and Industry,under Chief Minister J. H. Patel,from 1995 to 1999. In 2016,Mohiddin was recognized by the state government for his service with the Devaraj Urs award. He was also awarded 'Beary of the Century' by Beary's Welfare Association,Bangalore.
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Karnataka on 10 May 2023 to elect all 224 members of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 13 May 2023.
