Khan M. Asghar Husain (born 23 January 1916) was a member of the 4th and 5th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Akola constituency of Maharashtra and a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party.
He was a Member,Nagpur University Court during 1967-70 and Governing Body of Shivaji College,Akola.
He was vice-president of Municipal Council,Akola since 1955;
He was president,Berar Muslim Educational Conference since 1969 and Urdu Education Society,Akola. [1]
Akola is a major city in Vidarbha Region,it is governed by a Municipal Corporation,it is the third largest city in Vidarbha after Nagpur and Amravati. is located about 580 kilometres (360 mi) east of the state capital,Mumbai,and 250 kilometres (160 mi) west of the second capital,Nagpur. Akola is the administrative headquarters of the Akola district located in the Amravati division.

The Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh was an Indian political party founded by Prakash Ambedkar on 4 July 1994. The party was a splinter group of the Republican Party of India and had its roots in the Scheduled Castes Federation led by B. R. Ambedkar. The president of the party was Prakash Ambedkar. The complete name of the party is Bharatiya Republican Paksha - Bahujan Mahasangh. BBM was primarily based in Maharashtra. He lost in 1999 Lok Sabha election from and Washim Yawatmal Lok Sabha Constituency. He entered BJP with his son Nakul Anantrao Deshmukh and Chaitanya Anantrao Deshmukh on 14 March 2023 due to negligence of Congress on him though he had lot of power in district and good connections in all over India. He was classmate of Rajesh Pilot and Madhavrao Sindia. He has good connections with late Rajiv Gandhi,Sushilkumar Shinde,Pruthviraj Chavhan,late Vilasrao Deshmukh,Devendra Fadnavis,Chandrashekhar Bavankule,Rajendra Patni etc.
