K. Srinivas (born 28 October 1993) was the Indian national carrom champion and the winner of the 4th Carrom World Cup held at the Maldives. He won numerous title in men's single and double tournaments held around the globe. He was felicitated by women's national carrom champion P. Nirmala, and congratulated for winning the men's singles national championship. [1] [2]

The All India Carrom Federation (AICF) is India's national sport federation for the indigenous game of carrom, sanctioning six to seven national-level tournaments per year. It is India's representative body in the International Carrom Federation. The AICF has 15 regional and 28 state subnational affiliate institutions, the largest of which is the Maharashtra Carrom Association, further subdivided into local organisations.

The International Carrom Federation (ICF) is the international governing body for the game of carrom. Such an organisation was first proposed in the 1950s, but the ICF was not formed until October 1988, when delegates from India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Malaysia, Germany and Switzerland met in Madras, India, for the first World Carrom Congress, at which the ICF was formed and an international set of rules was adopted.

The 2016 Carrom World Championship, was the 7th edition of an international Carrom tournament governed by the International Carrom Federation, contested from 7 to 11 November 2016 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Fifteen countries had competed in the tournament.

Wannakuwatte Waduge Dinesh Nishantha Fernando is a Sri Lankan carrom player and a former world number one carrom player. Fernanado was a National Carrom champion in Sri Lanka, who became a Carrom World champion in Men's singles event in 2012 by defeating C. Bharathi Dhasan of India 25–4, 25–10 in the finals. Fernando also became the first Sri Lankan to win Carrom World Championship title and the second Sri Lankan to win an individual World Championship title, following Mohammad Lafir, who won the Snooker World Championship title in 1973. Fernando was also the key member of the Sri Lankan carrom team which won the 2016 Carrom World Championship in England, the largest Carrom World Championship, with fifteen countries participating.

Chamil Darshana Cooray Bulathsinghalage is a Sri Lankan carrom player. He has been playing for Sri Lanka from 2004 to date who was also the captain of the Sri Lanka Men's Carrom team that won the 2016 Carrom World Championship in Birmingham, England. He was also the part of the Sri Lankan team in the 2012 Carrom World Championship where he finished 6th in the Men's Singles rankings

S. Ilavazhagi also known as S. Ilavazhaki is an Indian who has twice won the carrom world cup. She is considered one of the finest carrom players to have represented India at international level from Tamil Nadu state after A. Maria Irudayam.

The 2018 Carrom World Cup was the 5th edition of the Carrom World Cup which held in the city of Chuncheon, South Korea for 7 days from 23 August to 26 August. This was staged as the first international carrom tournament since the 2016 Carrom World Championship and also marked the first Carrom World Cup to be held in South Korea. The World Cup was hosted in Chuncheon as a part of the 2018 World Leisure Games which includes other sports such as ice hockey, slalom, taekwondo and darts. Sri Lanka won the men's Carrom World Cup and India won the women's World Cup tournament in their respective finals mayil is the winner.

Saikumar Apoorva also popularly known by her short name S. Apoorva also spelt as either S. Apoorwa or S. Appoorwa is an Indian carrom player and a defending carrom world champion in women's singles. She also currently works as a senior administrative officer in Life Insurance Corporation of India. She is also the first world champion in any sport to have emerged from the city of Hyderabad.

The 8th edition of the ICF Carrom cup was held in Pune, India from 2 to 6 December 2019. This was the 3rd consecutive ICF cup India has hosted. India won the men's team event and women's team event title.

Prashant More is an Indian carrom player. He is a two time carrom world champion in 2016 and 2018.

Irshad Ahmed Ansari is an Indian carrom player.

Roshita Joseph also spelt as Joseph Roshita is a Sri Lankan carrom player. She was also a former number 1 women’s carrom player in Sri Lanka and has won the national titles on six occasions. In 2020, she became a world champion in the women’s singles of the inaugural edition of the World Online Carrom Championship. She is currently attached to Sri Lankan Navy.
