K. Sundaram is an Indian politician Former Minister and was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from Ponneri constituency as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in the 1989 [1] and 1996 elections. The constituency was reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Castes. [2] . He died on September 18th, 2024.

He lost the seat to P. Kaliyaperumal of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in the 1991 election and to K. Ayyaru Vandayar of the same party in 2001.
