As a coach he had won four Championship titles and four Cup titles in Macedonia. Three times( 2004, 2005, 2006) he was announced as a best basketball coach in Macedonia. Twenty years he was professional player(18 years in the best Macedonian club "Rabotnicki". In this time he won seven Championship Titles and five Cup titles. He has played for Young Yugoslavian National Team and he was the first captain of The Macedonian National Team.

The International Cinematographers Film Festival "Manaki Brothers" is an annual international film festival organized by the Macedonian Film Professionals Association (MFPA). The festival is held in Bitola, the town where most of the activities of the Aromanian brothers Yanaki and Milton Manaki were organized. They were the filmmakers, who in 1905 filmed in Avdela the first motion pictures in the Ottoman Balkans. Each year the festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Macedonia and the President of North Macedonia. The award of the festival is Camera 300 that given to the year's best motion pictures chosen by the festival's film committee. The Manaki Film Festival has been hosted at the Center of culture, with screenings at the Big Hall, located in the center of Bitola and has been attended by celebrities such as Michael York, Charles Dance, Victoria Abril, Daryl Hannah, Catherine Deneuve, Isabelle Huppert, Julliette Binoche, Aleksei Serebryakov, Bruno Ganz, Claudia Cardinale, Fatih Akin.

Zoran Zaev Prime Minister of North Macedonia

Zoran Zaev is a Macedonian economist and politician who has been serving as the Prime Minister of North Macedonia since 30 August 2020, a position he previously held from 31 May 2017 to 3 January 2020.

The Administration for Security and Counterintelligence, commonly referred to by the acronym UBK, was the domestic counterintelligence and security agency of North Macedonia. Its headquarters are located in Skopje, and the agency is under jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

2016 Macedonian protests

In April 2016, protests began in the Republic of Macedonia against the incumbent President Gjorgje Ivanov and the government led by the interim Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev from the ruling VMRO-DPMNE party. Referred to by some as the Colorful Revolution, the protests have started after the controversial decision by President Gjorgje Ivanov to stop the investigation against former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and dozens of politicians who were allegedly involved in a wiretapping scandal. The demonstrations were organized by "Protestiram" and supported from coalition led by the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia, and other opposition parties, also the newly formed Levica demanding that the government resigns for the formation of a technical government, and that the parliamentary elections planned for 5 June 2016 are cancelled, on the grounds that the conditions for free and transparent elections are not in place. The government and its supporters, who have organized pro-government rallies, maintain that the elections on June 5 are the only solution to the political crisis, with some observers blaming the opposition for creating a "Ukraine scenario" in Macedonia.

Nemetali Ogražden is a defunct basketball club based in Strumica, North Macedonia. They played in the Macedonian First League until the season 2003/2004. In 2004 the club declared bankruptcy because of financial problems.

Zoran Nikolov is a former Macedonian professional basketball Swingman who played for Žito Vardar, Nemetali Ogražden, Kumanovo, Balkan Steel, KB Peja and Teteks.

Open Balkan Economic and political zone formed by a regional organization in Southeastern Europe

The Open Balkan is an economic and political zone of three member states in the Balkans, including Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia. The zone has a total area of 131,935 km2 (50,940 sq mi) and an estimated total population of almost 12 million. The official languages are Albanian, Macedonian and Serbian. Its administrative centres are the cities of Belgrade, Skopje and Tirana. With the establishment of the zone, all three member states aim to increase trade and co-operation as well as improve bilateral relations.

Nebojša Vidić is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He currently serves as a head coach for BC Balkan Botevgrad of National Basketball League (Bulgaria).
