The KSCA Stadium (Karnataka State Cricket Association Stadium) is a cricket ground in Belagavi, India. [1] The first recorded match on the ground was in 2016/17. It was used as a venue for two first-class matches in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy, both featuring Gujarat. [2] [3] [4] In the first of those matches, Priyank Panchal scored a triple-century, when he made 314 not out. [5]

Captains and coaches were supportive of the change. Chhattisgarh cricket team made their debut in the competition, becoming the 28th team to compete in this edition of the Ranji Trophy. Mumbai were the defending champions. Gujarat beat Mumbai in the final by 5 wickets to win their first title.
