Kagojer Bou is a Bengali social drama film directed by Bappaditya Bandopadhyay based on a same name novel of Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay. [1] [2] This film was released on 4 February 2011. [3] [4]

Plot

This is the story of love, lust, betrayal between relationships and analysis the characters of modern society. Highly ambitious Upal meets Subimal, a wealthy businessman. Upal manages to get a young lady, Preety close to Subimal. Preety goes to a resort in Mondarmoni with Subimal and find Upal there. She understands the whole plot.

Kagojer Nouka is a Bengali language socio-political drama film directed by Parthasarathi Joarder and produced by Olivia Creation. This film was released on 13 May 2013. Nandan (Kolkata) theatre refused to screen this film. The film revolved around a chit fund scam. Director Joardar told the media that they sent the film to Nandan authority for preview, but he thought they did not even see the film before refusing it.

Atithi is a 1965 Bengali film based on a short story by Rabindranath Tagore, and directed by Tapan Sinha. It tells a simple story about a teenage boy who prefers the life of a wanderer to the confines of a domestic life. At the 13th National Film Awards, it won the National Award for the Second Best Feature Film. It also won several BFJA Awards. It was India's competitive entry at the Venice International Film Festival in 1966, where it was nominated for the Golden Lion. The film was remade in Hindi as Geet Gaata Chal.

Champadangar Bou was a Bengali drama film directed by Nirmal Dey. This film was based on the story of Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay. This movie was released on 1954 in the banner of Nirmal Dey Productions. The music direction was done by Manabendra Mukhopadhyay. This movie starring Uttam Kumar, Sabitri Chatterjee in lead roles and others Kanu Banerjee, Tulsi Chakraborty, and Anubha Gupta playing in the important supporting roles. There is another film named Chapa Dangar Bou in Dhallywood industry which was released in 1986.
