Kajaji is a town in Bono East Region of Ghana. The town is also known as Nkomi Kajaji. It has a paramount chief and rotates among the three Royal clans in the paramountcy, namely Keleta, Kelempota, and Soome. The paramountcy stool is vacant due to protracted litigation between the Keleta and the Kelempota clans as to who succeeds the now-deceased Nana Kwabena Efeda. [1] [ clarification needed ] [2]

The town of Kajaji has a population of about 65,000. The population contains Kraches (65%), Basares (12%), and other ethnic groups (23%). Main occupation of most of the inhabitants is agriculture. Majority practice both yam production and fishing on the Akosombo Lake, as the town is located in the Sene East District of the Bono East region, Ghana. [3]

It has become the District Capital of Sene East on 30 June 2012. The district capital has been developing steadily with a buoyant market that receives visitors from all over the country for business activities to trade mainly in fish, meat, yam, and other foodstuffs. [4] [5]

The Dormahene expressed disappointment in the court for exercising such restrain against him during his address to his subjects at his palace. Right next to him at his palace was a table occupied by assorted alcoholic beverages which questions the credibility of the leader to be drinking in public.

Offuman is a town in the Bono East Region of Ghana. Offuman, which is pronounced by the natives as "Fuman" is in the Techiman North District of the Bono East Region of Ghana. It is located at the North-Eastern part of Techiman, 21 kilometers from Tuobodom. It also lies 13 Km South-West of Wenchi. Offuman has a population of 8,277. The king of Offuman in the 18th century up until the 1930s was ODikro Kwame Ankomah.

Kintampo is a town and tourist destination in the Bono East Region of Ghana. It became the capital of Kintampo North Municipal in 2004. Kintampo has a population of 111 000. It also served as the capital of the former Kintampo District. Kintampo also has a Senior High School which is located at Kyeremankoma. There is a college of health called Kintampo College of Health and Well-being (CoHK) in the town. Most of the population in Kintampo are farmers, with production focused on yams, maize, legumes, tubers and other vegetables. Both the Bono and the Mo tribe are indigenous to the region. Kintampo is a cosmopolitan town, apart from the indigenous tribe, other tribes like the Wangaras, Gonjas, Konkombas and others are also inhabitants of the town. The annual Benkadi Kurubi festival of the Wangara community in Ghana always takes place at Kintampo.

The Bono East region of Ghana is a new region carved out of the Brong Ahafo region. The capital of the new region is Techiman. This creation of this new region was in fulfillment of a promise made by the New Patriotic Party prior to the 2016 Ghana general election. Upon winning the elections, the President, Nana Akuffo Addo created the Ministry of Regional Reorganization to oversee policy formulation and implementation.
