Busia is a county in the former Western Province of Kenya. It borders Kakamega County to the east, Bungoma County to the north, Lake Victoria and Siaya County to the south and Busia District, Uganda to the west. The county has about 893,861 people and spans about 1,700 square kilometers making it one of the smallest counties in Kenya. Busia is inhabited by the Luhya tribe and the Teso of Kenya, and small groups of the Luo. The Luhya communities include the Abakhayo, Marachi, Samia and Abanyala communities.
Bungoma County is a county in the former Western Province of Kenya with its capital in Bungoma town. It has a population of 1,670,570 of which 812,146 are males 858,389 females as per the 2019 census and an area of 2,069 km2. It has nine constituencies, namely: Bumula, Kabuchai, Kanduyi, Kimilili, Mt. Elgon, Sirisia, Tongaren, Webuye East and Webuye West.

Kajiado North Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of five constituencies in Kajiado County. The constituency was established for the 1966 elections. The entire area of the constituency is located in Kajiado County.
Kiserian is a town in Kenya's Rift Valley Province, Kajiado county. Kiserian town is bordered by Ongata Rongai, Ngong Town, Enoomatasiani town and Kisamis town. It is located on the boundary between Kajiado North and Kajiado West constituencies. It lies at the foot of the Ngong Hills, along Magadi Road just adjacent to the Kiserian dam. There is a famous Maasai community around Kiserian town and small Maasai villages called Olteyani and Olooseos. Among other social amenities, Kiserian has several primary schools and secondary schools, and a few higher education institutions. In the language of the Maasai, Kiserian means "a place of peace".
Ongata Rongai is a town located in Kajiado North, Kajiado County, Kenya. The town is situated 17 km (10.6 mi) south of the Nairobi CBD and East of the Ngong hills and within the greater Nairobi Metropolitan Region. It lies 1,731 meters (5,682 feet) above sea level. According to the 2019 Census, it is the most populous town in Kajiado County and eleventh largest urban centre by population in Kenya.

Under the new constitution, which was passed in a 2010 referendum, the 2013 general elections were the first in which Governors and members of the County Assemblies for the newly created counties were elected.
Joseph Jama Ole Lenku is a Kenyan politician who is the second Governor of Kajiado County after winning in the Kenyan General Elections on 8 August 2017 and retained his seat in the 2022 General elections held on 8 August. Lenku was Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government from 2013 to 2014.
David Ole Nkedianye is a Kenyan politician who served as the 1st governor of Kajiado County. Nkedianye won the Kajiado county 2013 gubernatorial elections closely defeating Parantai Moses of the Democratic Party (Kenya)
Keekonyokie ward is an electorate ward that was established in 2012 after devolution as per the Kenyan constitution of 2010 and was ranked as number 187 in Kenyan constituencies. Keekonyokie has a population of approximately 33,562 and was devolved from Kajiado North Constituency after devolution. Moses Saoyo became the second MCA for keekonyokie after Hon George Sunkuya is the current member of county assembly for Keekonyokie after the 2013 general elections. Keekonyokie is the most dense ward and the smallest in Kajiado West constituency with an area of 807 km2 and has Kisamis near Kiserian as the administration centre for the ward.

He is a member of the ruling Jubilee Party under President Uhuru Kenyatta. He previously served as a Commissioner at the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) as well as the Electoral Commission of Kenya's (ECK) South Rift Presidential Election Zonal Coordinator. He also served as a teacher employed by Kenya's Teachers Service Commission. He has business interests in the leather and construction industries.
