Kalaivanar Arangam is an auditorium situated at Wallajah Road in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Named after N. S. Krishnan, The completely air-conditioned auditorium has seats for 1,100 persons on the first and second floors and about 1,300 persons on the third floor. [1]
Originally built as an assembly building in 1952, the legislature functioned from here. In 1974, the then Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi inaugurated the renovated auditorium. The auditorium was later demolished and built again with state-of-the-art facilities. Chief Minister Jayalalithaa inaugurated the present auditorium in February 2016. [2]
The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bangalore, India, a constituent unit of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, was established in memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Science City Kolkata is the largest science centre in Asia. It is managed by National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India. It is located at the crossing of Eastern Metropolitan Bypass and J. B. S. Haldane Avenue in East Topsia. Saroj Ghose, the first director general of NCSM, is credited with having conceptualised this centre in 1997. This centre was inaugurated by two parts: the ‘Convention Centre Complex’ was unveiled on 21 December 1996 by Paul Jozef Crutzen in presence of the then chief minister Jyoti Basu and the whole centre was opened by the then prime minister Inder Kumar Gujral on 1 July 1997. On 10 January 2010, prime minister of India, Manmohan Singh laid the foundation stone for the second phase of Science City in presence of the then chief minister of West Bengal, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee.

Anna Nagar twin arches are ornamental twin arches located in Anna Nagar, Chennai, India. It was built on January 1, 1986 to commemorate the platinum jubilee of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu C. N. Annadurai. Located at the junction of Poonamallee High Road and Anna Nagar Third Avenue, the arches are one of the most prominent landmarks in the city and serve as the entrance of the suburb of Anna Nagar from the southern side.
