Kalitharu Henne is a 1963 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by N. C. Rajan and produced by Jaya Balakrishna. The film stars Rajkumar, Leelavathi, Advani Lakshmi Devi and R. Nagendra Rao. The film has musical score by G. K. Venkatesh. [1] [2] [3] The film was produced by actor T. N. Balakrishna marking his debut as independent producer. He also wrote the dialogues and worked as the assistant director of the movie. [4] The movie was based on the short story Gowdthi Girijavva written by Balakrishna's wife Jaya. While Advani Lakshmidevi was paired opposite Rajkumar, Leelavathi played his younger brother's wife. [5]
Bhakta Kumbara is a 1974 Indian Kannada-language biographical film directed by Hunsur Krishnamurthy. The film stars Rajkumar and Leelavathi. Actress Sridevi essayed the role of Muktha Bai, thereby the latter making her Kannada film debut. The film was produced by N. R. Anuradha Devi under Lakshmi Film Combines. Bhakta Kumbara marked the eighth collaboration between Dr. Rajkumar and director Hunsur Krishnamurthy.
Bayalu Daari is a 1976 Indian Kannada-language film directed and produced by the Dorai–Bhagavan duo. It is based on the novel of the same name by Bharathi Sutha. This was the first movie of the director duo without Dr. Rajkumar in the lead. The film starred Anant Nag, Kalpana, and K. S. Ashwath. It was a musical blockbuster with all the songs composed by Rajan–Nagendra considered evergreen hits. Bayalu Daari was the first commercial success for Anant Nag who had earlier done art films and established himself as a leading star in the Kannada cinema with a chocolate hero image. This film was one the last big hits of Kalpana. The helicopter scenes formed a major highlight of the movie.

The film was produced under Sri Eswari Productions of N. Veeraswamy. It had a very successful soundtrack composed by T. G. Lingappa. Popular actor-director V. Ravichandran, son of the film producer Veerasamy, appeared in the film as a child artist. The film swept 5 awards at the 1970-71 Karnataka State Film Awards including the best film, best actor, and best editor categories. Veeraswamy, who till then used to finance movies under Sri Eswari Productions, turned an independent producer with this movie. However, contrary to expectations, the movie failed to achieve 100 days run in its theatrical run.
