Kaluga Turbine Plant (Russian : Калужский турбинный завод) is a company based in Kaluga, Russia and established in 1946. The Kaluga Turbine Plant Production Association produces turbines for naval ships and submarines. It also produces turbines for civilian power plants. It is located near the Kaluga Motor-Building Plant. [1]

The Konstantin E. Tsiolkovsky State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics is the first museum in the world dedicated to the history of space exploration. It was opened on 3 October 1967 in Kaluga, and is named after Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, a school master and rocket science pioneer who lived most of his life in this city. The driving force behind the creation of the museum was Sergei Korolyov, chief designer of RKK Energiya. The building was designed by Boris Barkhin, Evgeny Kireev, Nataliya Orlova, Valentin Strogy and Kirill Fomin, and the cornerstone was laid by Yuri Gagarin on 13 June 1961. The museum has over 100,000 visitors per year and has 127 employees, of whom 43 are curators.

Kaluga Governorate was an administrative-territorial unit (guberniya) of the Russian Empire and the Russian SFSR, which existed in 1796–1929. Its capital was Kaluga.

The Pauzhetskaya power station is located in the southwestern part of the Kamchatka Peninsula, 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Ozernovskij settlement, located on the coast of the Okhotsk Sea. The geothermal power plant was put into operation in 1966. The power plant has two 6 MW direct-cycle turbines and one 2.5 MW binary-cycle turbine. The first steam turbine is designed for an inlet pressure of 1.2 bars and a steam flow rate of 24.2 kg/s. The second steam turbine is designed for an inlet pressure of 2.2 bars and a steam flow rate of 25.8 kg/s. The binary turbine is designed for a separated water flow rate of 118 kg/s at 120 °C. Presently, one steam turbine is in operation, while the other steam turbine is a reserve.

Ferzikovo railway station is a train station Moscow Railway in urban-type settlements Ferzikovo in Kaluga Oblast. It opened in 1874. The station consists of two low platforms: the side and the island. Any station with a waiting room and a suburban insurance fund. Electrification of the station is not available, suburban carried diesel train. At the station, stop all suburban trains through Kaluga — Tula, including accelerated diesel train links Kaluga — Tula and Kaluga — Tula — Uzlovaja. In the summer of 2013 through the station runs a small number of long-distance trains with a particular timetable, none of them stops at the station did not have.
