It features Anubrata Basu, Joyraj Bhattacharjee, Kamalika Banerjee, Silajit Majumder, and Rii Sen in the lead roles. The film's music is by the alternative rock band Five Little Indians. Gandu previewed at Yale University before making its international premiere on 29 October 2010 at the 2010 South Asian International Film Festival in New York City. Gandu was an official selection at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival and was also screened at the Slamdance Film Festival.

Awara is a 2012 Indian Bengali-language action masala film co-written and directed by Ravi Kinnagi. Produced by Shrikant Mohta under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films, the screenplay and dialogues of the film were written by N. K. Salil. It stars Jeet, Sayantika Banerjee, Mukul Dev and Ashish Vidyarthi in lead roles, while Kharaj Mukherjee, Biswajit Chakraborty, Biswanath Basu, Supriyo Dutta, Tulika Basu, Kamalika Banerjee and Arun Banerjee play another pivotal roles, with Subhasish Mukherjee in a guest appearance. In this film Kharaj Mukherjee as Madan impressed the audience. The film is placed List of highest-grossing Bengali films. The movie is a remake of 2008 Telugu film Krishna.

<i>Tasher Desh</i> 2012 film

Tasher Desh is a 2012 Bengali-language fantasy film directed by Q. The film has been described as a "trippy adaptation" of the 1933 Rabindrath Tagore play of the same name by Indian media. It begins with a nihilist playwright searching where the play, 'Tasher Desh' by Rabindranath Tagore is being played. He goes to major play theatres in Kolkata like The Academy of Fine Arts but no one has a show of Tasher Desh in the near time. He finally writes his own adapted script of the play by Tagore and completely immerses himself into it. Most of the dialogues and all the songs in the film are from the original play by Tagore while director Q is picturising himself as the playwright. It features Soumyak Kanti De Biswas, Anubrata Basu, Tillotama Shome, Rii, Joyraj Bhattacharjee, Tinu Verghis, and Immaduddin Shah in the lead roles. Tasher Desh made its international premiere on 11 November 2012 at the 7th Rome International Film Festival. The film had its release in India on 23 August 2013.

Ishti Kutum is a Bengali television serial that aired from 24 October 2011 to 13 December 2015 on Star Jalsha. It began telecasting daily from 3 May 2015 and was in the same slot 6:30 PM IST from the beginning to the end. The show was produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures company. This is the first serial produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures on Star Jalsha as well as the longest running serial of Magic Moments Motion Pictures till now. The show went on-air on 24 October 2011. It starred Raneeta Das, Rishi Kaushik and Ankita Chakraborty in lead roles. After successfully running for four years, Ishti Kutum went off-air on 13 December 2015.

Behula is a mythological Bengali television serial which broadcast on GEC Star Jalsha in 2010, weekdays at 9:30pm. It stars Payel Dey, Arka Majumdar, Rimjhim Mitra, Chandrayee Ghosh, Kaushik Chakraborty and Rupanjana Mitra, produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, it is based on the story of Behula and Lakhindar. It has been aired on Star Vijay as a dubbed Tamil show Mangayin Sabatham and on Sahara One as a dubbed Hindi show under the same name. This serial has also been dubbed in Assamese as Soti Beula and aired on Focus Hifi. It was re-aired on Star Jalsha during lockdown period, due to COVID-19.

He is an active Member of the renowned Theatre Group Chetana. On 22 February 2016 his directorial debut, in the field of Theatre, Ghashiram Kotwal, which is an adaptation on Marathi play, was premiered. In 2018 he directed Don: Taake Bhalo Laage an adaptation of Dale Wasserman's Don Quixote which was translated into Bengali by his father Arun Mukhopadhyay many years back. This play marked the re-entry of his brother and noted director Suman Mukhopadhyay as an actor after 25 years.

Bigg Boss Bangla 2 is the second season of the Bengali version of the Indian reality show Bigg Boss. It premiered on Colors Bangla on 4 April 2016. Jeet was the host for the season. The Grand Finale aired on 15 July 2016 where Joyjit Banerjee emerged as the winner and Priya Paul emerged as the runner-up.
