Kamil Ocak Stadium (Turkish : Kamil Ocak Stadyumu) was a multi-purpose stadium in Gaziantep, Turkey. It was used mostly for football matches and was the home ground of Gaziantepspor until 2017. The stadium hold 16,981 people. [1] It was named after the Turkish politician Mehmet Kamil Ocak. [2]

The Adana 5 Ocak Fatih Terim Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Adana, Turkey. It was opened in 1938, together with the Menderes Sports Hall and Gençlik Stadium as a sports complex, at the new neighborhood of Reşatbey. The stadium holds 16,095, with a large East and West stands and much smaller North and South stands. It abided UEFA standards for hosting Europa League games and TFF standards for hosting Super Lig games. The stadium was demolished in late 2021.

The Gaziantep Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as the Kalyon Stadium, is a stadium in Gaziantep, Turkey. It has a capacity of 35,574 spectators. and was opened on 15 January 2017. It is the home ground of Gaziantep F.K., replacing Gaziantep Kamil Ocak Stadium. Its distance to the city centre is 10 kilometers. For it to reflect the tradition of the ancient city of Zeugma, the outside walls of the stadium are covered with mosaic.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">May 2016 Gaziantep bombing</span> Car bombing in Turkey attributed to ISIL

On 1 May 2016, a car bombing took place in the Turkish city of Gaziantep. The bombing took place at 09:17 (UTC+3) in front of the police headquarters along the thoroughfare Prof. Dr. Muammer Aksoy Boulevard. 2 police personnel were killed and 22 people, consisting of 18 police personnel and 4 civilians, were injured. The perpetrator was also killed.

The 2017–18 TFF First League is the 17th season since the league was established in 2001 and 55th season of the second-level football league of Turkey since its establishment in 1963–64.
