Kamran Khan Bangash is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from August 2018 till January 2023.
He was born on 5 December 1987 in Hangu,Pakistan. [1]
He received a degree of Bachelor of Computer Science [2] in 2008. [1]
Bangash joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 2006 and headed the party's social media in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2007 to 2010. [3]
He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a candidate of PTI from Constituency PK-77 (Peshawar-XII) in 2018 Pakistani general election. [4]
On 26 August 2018,he was named by the PTI as Provincial Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information Technology. [5] However his name was dropped from the cabinet on the day of oath taking ceremony on 29 August. [6] On 30 August,he was named as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan on Information Technology. [3] On 14 September 2018,he was appointed as special assistant to the chief minister on science and technology and information technology. [7] On 11 July 2020,He has been appointed as Provincial Minister for Information and has been considered as the best Information minister of the decade for the province.
Later in the same year on Friday,18 September 2020,he was given the responsibility of revamping the Ministry of Higher Education,Archives,&Libraries.

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,is the provincial government of the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Its powers and structure are set out in the provisions of the 1973 Constitution,in which 32 districts come under its authority and jurisdiction. The government includes the cabinet,selected from members the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly,and the non-political civil staff within each department. The province is governed by a unicameral legislature with the head of government known as the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister,invariably the leader of a political party represented in the Assembly,selects members of the Cabinet. The Chief Minister and Cabinet are thus responsible the functioning of government and are entitled to remain in office so long as it maintains the confidence of the elected Assembly. The head of the province is known as the Governor,appointed by the federal government,on behalf of the President,while the administrative boss of the province is Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Akram Khan Durrani is a Pakistani politician who was the Leader of the Opposition in the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,in office from 2 October 2018 till 18 January 2023. He previously served as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2002 to 2007. He served as Federal Minister for Housing and Works,in the Abbasi cabinet from August 2017 to May 2018 and as the Federal Minister for Housing and Works in the third Sharif ministry from June 2013 to July 2017. Shahram Khan Tarakai is a Pakistani politician who was Provincial Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Local Government,Elections and Rural Development,in office from 29 August 2018 till 26 January 2020 and later on Provincial Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education till 14th January 2023 when the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was dissolved by the then Chief Minister on the instructions of Imran Khan. He also served as Provincial Minister for Communication &Works in the 2024 Gandapur ministry but resigned over controversy in August 2024.

Provincial elections were held in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 8 February 2024 to elect members of the 12th Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. On 5 August 2023,the results of the 2023 digital census were approved by the Council of Common Interests headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Therefore,elections have been delayed for several months,as new delimitations will be published on 14 December 2023,as announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). On 2 November 2023,the ECP announced,in agreement with the President of Pakistan,Arif Alvi,that the elections would be held on 8 February 2024. This election was held concurrently with nationwide general elections and other provincial elections.
