Kang Ji-seok (born 24 August 1994) is a South Korean male swimmer. [1] [2] He is also a South Korean national record holder in 50m backstroke event. [3]
He claimed a bronze medal in the men's 50m backstroke event at the 2018 Asian Games representing South Korea. [4]
South Korea competed as Korea at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, United States. 300 competitors, 189 men and 111 women, took part in 160 events in 25 sports.
Virdhawal Vikram Khade is an Indian swimmer. He competed in the men's 50, 100, and 200 meters Freestyle swimming events at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, setting an Indian national record in 100 meters Freestyle. He failed to qualify for the semifinals in his events despite winning his qualification heat. Khade won a bronze medal in the 50 meters butterfly event at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou; it was India's first Asian Games medal in swimming in 24 years. He was conferred with the Arjuna Award in 2011 by the Government of India.

Dimuth Akalanka Peiris also known as Dimuth Peiris is a Sri Lankan male swimmer and a national record holder in swimming. He represented Sri Lanka at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and competed in swimming competitions. In August 2018, he became the first ever Sri Lankan student to sit for a Sri Lankan GCE A/L examinations outside Sri Lanka as he was granted special permission to write A/L exams in Jakarta, Indonesia just prior to his preparations for the 2018 Asian Games. He represented Sri Lanka at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in October 2018 which was held in Argentina. He also went onto represent Sri Lanka at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships as the only male swimmer.

She represented South Korea at the 2018 Asian Games and claimed a bronze medal jointly with Malaysian Yap Khim Wen in the women's individual poomsae event. This also significantly marked the first medal to be received by South Korea during the 2018 Asian Games.

The women's individual recurve archery competition at the 2018 Asian Games was held from 21 to 28 August at the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex Archery Field in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was the eleventh time the event was held as part of the Asian Games sports programme since the sport's debut in the competition in 1978. A total of 68 archers from 25 nations participated. Jung Dasomi of South Korea entered as the defending champion, having won the women's individual gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games.
