Kangaroo Beach is an Australian animated television series for preschool children which debuted on ABC Kids on 25 January 2021. It was created by Tim Bain, who is also a writer with Charlotte Rose Hamlyn, Simon Dodd and Samantha Carroll. Producers are Celine Goetz and Isla Curtis, and the executive producer is Patrick Egerton from Cheeky Little Media. It was commissioned by ABC Children's and is financed and consulting on water safety information will be Bruce 'Hoppo' Hopkins (Bondi Rescue) and Craig Riddington of Surf Educators International.
The series screens internationally on networks including Nick Jr. and Channel 5 (Milkshake!) in the United Kingdom, Mango TV in China, Discovery Kids in Latin America And TVOKids in Canada
Four junior lifeguards, kangaroo Pounce, koala Frizzy Bearheart, wombat Neville and platypus Gemma are on their way to becoming heroes of Kangaroo Beach, under the guidance of grown-up lifeguards Bondi, Sandy and Big Trev.
The series stars the voices of Kitty Flanagan, Matt Hardie and Rupert Degas, and a cast of children playing the Kangaroo Beach cadets.
Kangaroo Beach won the Animated Series Production of the Year at the Screen Producers Australia Awards 2022 [2] and an Asian Academy Creative Award for Best Animated Series in 2022. [3] It was nominated for an AACTA Award for Best Children's Series 2022.

Bananas in Pyjamas is an Australian children's television series that first aired on 20 July 1992 on ABC. It has since been syndicated in many countries and dubbed into other languages. In the United States, the "Pyjamas" in the title was modified to reflect the American spelling pajamas. It aired in syndication from 1995 to 1997 as a half-hour series, then became a 15-minute show paired with a short-lived 15-minute series The Crayon Box, under a 30-minute block produced by Sachs Family Entertainment titled Bananas in Pajamas & The Crayon Box. Additionally, the characters and a scene from the show were featured in the Kids for Character sequel titled Kids for Character: Choices Count. The pilot episode was Pink Mug.

Kitty Flanagan is an Australian comedian, writer and actress. She is known for portraying Helen Tudor-Fisk in the television comedy program Fisk, which she also co-created, co-wrote and co-directed. She spent eight years based in the UK and performing around the world (2001–2009) and has performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Just For Laughs in Montreal, Canada. Flanagan won the AACTA Award for Best Comedy Performer in 2021 and the Silver Logie Award for Most Popular Actress in 2022 for her performance in Fisk.

Bondi Rescue is an Australian factual television program which is broadcast on Network 10. The program follows the daily lives and routines of the Waverley Council professional lifeguards who patrol Bondi Beach.
The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Series was an Emmy award given to television programming aimed towards children. Children's television had been recognized at the Emmys since the inaugural year. In 1995, a separate award for pre-school children's television was created, and the two categories had been recognized since then. Starting in 2018, a distinction between children's series and educational series was created, resulting in two separate categories. In November 2021, it was announced that all Daytime Emmy categories honoring children's programming would be retired in favor of a separate Children's & Family Emmy Awards ceremony that was held starting in 2022.
