Kanjirowa National Higher Secondary School (formerly Kathmandu Don Bosco High School) is an independent institution. It was established in 1998 A.D by a team of educators and academicians. It is located at Koteshwor (Near Balkumari Bridge), Kathmandu, Nepal. Kanjirowa National School provides classes from 1 to 10.

The student- population is divided into four house: MACHHAPUCHHRE, NILGIRI, ANNAPURNA and LANGTANG. Each house has a House Teacher, House Captain and House Vice-Captain.

Tuladhar

Tulādhar is a Nepali/Nepalese caste from the Newar community of the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. The name Tuladhar is derived from the Sanskrit words "tula" and "dhar" (possessor), thus meaning scale-bearer or in general, merchant. Tuladhars belong to the Uray group which includes Kansakar, Tamrakar, Sthapit, Bania, Sindurakar, Selalik and other castes. They follow Newar Buddhism and speak Nepal Bhasa as a mother tongue.

Mohani

Mohani or Mohni is one of the most important festivals among the Newars which involves a packed itinerary of religious services, pilgrimages, family gatherings and outdoor celebrations lasting several days. Special dinners known as Nakhtya (नख्त्या), to which all the relatives are invited, continue for weeks later. Mohani is the equivalent of Nepal's biggest festival Dasain, and there are similarities and differences between the two.

Gopal Das Shrestha

Gopal Das Shrestha (1930–1998), a prominent journalist, created the history of English journalism in Nepal. He published and edited the first English daily newspaper The Commoner on 15 July 1956 from Kathmandu. He was an influential intellectual, a remarkable compelling writer and a creative thinker.
