Jones was born on September 22, 2000, in Dallas, Texas. Jones grew up listening to artists such as Speaker Knockerz. He did not initially plan on becoming a rapper. In an interview, Jones is quoted as saying that he started rapping initially, "as a joke". After realizing how fun it was to make music, Kankan began to pursue music fully. [2]

Barry Harris is a Canadian record producer, DJ, remixer, singer and songwriter. He created the recording act he named Kon Kan in early 1988 which had worldwide success with "I Beg Your Pardon".
