Kanlaya Sysomvang (born 3 November 1990) is a Laotian football manager and former player he is the head coach of Laos U17.

Club career

In 2010, he signed for MCTPC, now known as Yotha FC. He played there for one season before signing with Thai side Khon Kaen in 2011. [1]

International career

He represented Laos at the 2009 SEA Games and made his senior debut in 2010. [2]

The 2010 AFF Championship qualification tournament was held in Vientiane, Laos from 22 to 26 October 2010 for the five lower-ranked teams in Southeast Asia. All teams played in a round-robin tournament format with the winner and runner-up qualifying for the final tournament. However, the qualification was held without Brunei, due to FIFA's continued suspension of the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam, thus barring them from the competition.
