Kannedhirey Thondrinaal is a Tamil language family television series created by M. B. Gowrish under the new production company Rambo Visual Works and directed by Parmeshwar (firstly by R. R. Karthikeyan).

Contents

It premiered on 27 June 2022 on Kalaignar TV and airs from Monday to Saturday. [4] The story stars Malavika Avinash, Swetha Khelge, Jayshri Jue and Jeevan G in lead roles.

Plot

The story is about Sakthi and Anitha. Rudhra, a woman who comes from a wealthy family, hires Rathnam as her driver. Rathnam's baby and Rudhra's baby were born in the same hospital at the sam etime. The moment he found out about it, given his evil mind, he switches his newborn baby for hers in secret to get revenge on Rudhra and provide his child a life of luxury. Both the girls grow up in different ways in different atmospheres. Sakthi, raised at Rathnam's house, is timid, innocent, and soft-spoken like Rudhra while Anitha, who is raised at Rudra's house, is arrogant like Rathnam. The story shows scenes for the truth to come out and its consequences.

Rambo Visual Works, a new production company headed by M.B. Gowrish began the production of its first serial Kannedhirey Thondrinal on Kalaignar TV. [5]

Casting

Swetha Khelge was cast as the female lead Sakthi, who is a middle-class girl, she marking his return after Vanathai Pola . [6] [7] Actress Malavika Avinash was cast as Rudhra, [8] who is a woman who comes from a wealthy family. She marking his return after Kaatrukkenna Veli . Newcomer actor 'Jeevan G Vaa' was cast as the male lead Shiva. Actress Jayshri was cast Main Antagonist as Anitha. [9] [10] On 10 March, Vadivukkarasi was cast as Abirami.

Actor Kovai Babu was cast as supporting role Manivannan, [11] but was replaced by Arvind Venkat in May 2023. Vaishu Jayachandhiran was selected to portray a supporting role as Dhivya but in October 2023 she quit the show. [12] Actress Kavya Amira was replaced her role. [13] In June 2023, actor Raaghav entered the show as Surya, Sakthi's new love interest. [14]

In September 2023, Actor Ravikumar joined the cast to play a supporting role, [15] will play the role of Sakthi's Grandfather. On 25 November 2023, Actress Papri Ghosh joined the cast to play as Doctor for a new story track. [16] In end of November, Kavya Amira was replaced by Dhanalakshmi as Dhivya. [17]

On 24 December 2023, Actress Jayshri Jue was replaced by Ramya Balakrishna as Anitha. [18] The team once again got back Jayshri Jue as Anitha on 19 May 2024, replacing Ramya Balakrishna. In February 2024, Singer and actor Mohan Vaidya [19] joined the cast to play a supporting role, However, from begin July Mohan Vaidya was replaced by Sivakumar. [20]
