Karen Dolva (born 1990 [1] ) is a Norwegian interaction designer and founder of No Isolation. [2] [3] She was named to the BBC's 100 Women in 2020. [4] She previously studied computer science at the University of Oslo. [5] [6]

The Man Who Could Not Laugh is a 1968 Norwegian comedy film. The title role is played by Rolv Wesenlund. Harald Heide-Steen Jr. plays the psychologist with the task of teaching him to laugh. The film also stars the film's director, Bo Hermansson.

Britt Karin Larsen is a Norwegian poet, author and government scholar. Larsen debuted as a poet in 1978 with 5 mg blues og andre dikt, and has published many poetry collections and novels since. She is best known for her novel trilogy about Norwegian and Swedish Travellers, De som ser etter tegn (1997), De usynliges by (1998) and Sangen om løpende hester (1999). The trilogy has been called a literary monument for Romany people in Norway. Larsen was given the Norsk PEN's highest freedom prize, the Ossietzky-prisen, in 2000.

Thea Stabell, née Dorothea Jessie Pierstorff, is a Norwegian actress. Stabell's mother was American, and her father worked for the Foreign Service. As a result, she had a nomadic lifestyle growing up, living in both the United States, France and Belgium. She graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1964, and had her début the same year in the play Boyfriend at Oslo Nye Teater. She has since acted both at Torshovteatret, Hålogaland Teater and Nationaltheatret, while all the while working as an instructor at Teaterhøyskolen. In 2006 she was hired as a professor here, as the first of her kind with an acting background, not an academic one.

German destroyer <i>Z19 Hermann Künne</i> Type 1936-class destroyer

Z19 Hermann Künne was one of six Type 1936 destroyers built for the Kriegsmarine in the late 1930s. Completed at the beginning of 1939, the ship spent most of her time training although she did participate in the occupation of Memel a few months later. At the beginning of World War II in September, she was initially deployed to lay minefields off the German coast, but was soon transferred to the Skagerrak where she inspected neutral shipping for contraband goods. In late 1939, Z18 Hans Lüdemann helped to laid four offensive minefields off the English coast that claimed two British destroyers and thirty-eight merchant ships.

Prinsessen som ingen kunne målbinde is a Norwegian short film from 1932 based on the fairytale of the same name by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen. Harald Stormoen starred as the king, Andreas Aabel as Askeladd, and Unni Torkildsen as the princess. The film was directed by Walter Fürst.

Levi André Jensen is a Norwegian evangelist with a background from the Pentecostal community, and part of the charismatic movement. He is associated with methods such as speaking in tongues and laying of hands, and reaches out mainly to youth.
