Karl Johan "Kallen" Johannessen (born 28 April 1943) is a retired Norwegian football striker.

He played for SK Herd before transferring to Lyn in the summer of 1967. [1] He had a good scoring rate in 1967, and also notably scored 4 goals in 6 games in the 1968–69 European Cup Winners' Cup. [2] He also got the chance to represent Norway once. [3] [4]

In 1970 he returned to SK Herd, [5] then he went on to Aalesunds FK in 1971, [6] Skarbøvik IF in 1972, [7] Aalesund again in 1974, [8] and Molde FK in 1976. [3]

The 1968 Norwegian Football Cup was the 63rd season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The Final was held on 27 October 1968, between Lyn and Mjøndalen. Lyn won their eighth Norwegian Cup. Having won the league, Lyn qualified for the 1969–70 European Cup, with Mjøndalen qualifying for the 1969–70 European Cup Winners' Cup as runners-up.

The 2009 season was Molde's 2nd consecutive year in Tippeligaen, and their 33rd season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They competed in Tippeligaen where they finished in 2nd position and the Norwegian Cup where they were defeated by Aalesund in the Norwegian Cup Final.

Norwegian football teams have entered Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) club competitions every season since 1960. Nineteen clubs have represented Norway in four official tournaments: the Champions League, the Europa League, the Cup Winners' Cup and the Intertoto Cup, the latter two which are now defunct. Rosenborg has participated in thirty seasons, more than any other Norwegian team, while Fyllingen, Gjøvik-Lyn, Haugar and Kongsvinger have only participated once each. No Norwegian teams have ever advanced past the quarter-finals of any tournament, with Rosenborg, Lyn, Brann, Vålerenga and Bodø/Glimt having reached one quarter-final each.

Rune Ulvestad is a Norwegian football coach and former player. He played as a forward for Molde from 1978 to 1986. After his active career, Ulvestad has been coaching Herd. He is the father of the footballers Pål Erik, Fredrik and Dan Peter Ulvestad.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mesterfinalen</span> Football league

Mesterfinalen, also known as UNICEF Mesterfinalen due to its cooperation with UNICEF, is a Norwegian association football competition contested between the champions of the previous Eliteserien season and the holders of the Norwegian Football Cup. If the same team is both reigning League and Cup champions, the silver medalist from the league provides the opposition. The competition was founded in 2009, then known as Superfinalen. Superfinalen was not arranged between 2011 and 2016 before it was rebranded and again arranged in 2017. The fixture is a recognised competitive football super cup.

The 2017 season is Aalesunds FK's tenth consecutive season in the Tippeligaen.

The 1983 season was Molde's 21st season in the second tier of Norwegian football and their first since their relegation from 1. divisjon in 1982. This season Molde competed in 2. divisjon group B and the Norwegian Cup.
