The Lutz is a figure skating jump, named after Alois Lutz, an Austrian skater who performed it in 1913. It is a toepick-assisted jump with an entrance from a back outside edge and landing on the back outside edge of the opposite foot. It is the most difficult jump and the second-most famous jump after the Axel.
Carl Ludwig "Luz" Long was a German Olympic long jumper, notable for winning the silver medal in the event at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin and for his association with Jesse Owens, who went on to win the gold medal for the long jump. Luz Long won the German long jump championship six times in 1933, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1938, and 1939.

Rudolf Schilberg was an Austrian male weightlifter, who competed in the heavyweight category and represented Austria at international competitions. He competed at the 1928 Summer Olympics and 1936 Summer Olympics. In the heavyweight category he set six world records in the press between 1925 and 1931.
