Karsan Jest is a low-floor minibus produced by Turkish automobile company Karsan.

History

Karsan Jest started production in 2013. It was designed by Karsan affiliate Hexagon Studio. [1] Production is based in Bursa, Akçalar. 70% of the parts in the bus are produced in Turkey. [2]

Engine

Karsan Jest's engine is diesel. The engine is a front-wheel drive, Common Rail, four cylinder, 2.3 liters, 129 horsepower and produces 320 Nm energy. [3] It also has a variant with automated manual transmission. [4] It seats 12 to 20 passengers depending on the specific configuration, the variant with 11 fixed and 4 foldable seats is the standard, all other seating configurations are produced on request.

Features

An optional version of the bus includes wifi. The bus has a total of 5 seating options. A ramp for disabled people to get off and on the bus is available.

Texmaco Perkasa is a family of medium-duty commercial vehicles manufactured by Indonesian automaker PT Wahana Perkasa Auto Jaya, which is a company under the Texmaco group. Started production after the New Order in 1999 by making trucks, and in 2001 finally participated in producing variants of bus vehicles. Perkasa means "mighty" in Indonesian. These vehicles are well known in Indonesia for being the standard trucks and buses operated by the Indonesian Armed Forces. Perkasa truck was first launched in late 1998, with a claim of 90% local content. TNI and Polri are the first customers, intended as military vehicles and tactical vehicles. Perkasa stopped production in 2004 after the Texmaco group went bankrupt by IBRA.
