Katarina Borg (born 21 March 1964) is a Swedish orienteering competitor. She has received two silver medals in the world championships, and finished overall third in the Orienteering World Cup two times.

World championships

She participated at the 1987 World Orienteering Championships, where she received a silver medal with the Swedish team (Arja Hannus, Marita Skogum and Karin Rabe). [1] She received a silver medal in the classic distance at the 1997 World Championships. [1]

World cup

Borg finished third overall at the 1990 Orienteering World Cup, behind Ragnhild Bente Andersen and Ragnhild Bratberg. She finished overall third also in 1998, behind Hanne Staff and Johanna Asklöf.

Ragnhild Bente Andersen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and World champion. She won a gold medal in relay at the 1987 World Orienteering Championships, together with Bratberg, Olsvik and Volden. She received a silver medal in relay in 1991, together with Sandstad, Arnesen and Bratberg.

Øystein Kvaal Østerbø is a Norwegian orienteering and ski-orienteering competitor. He finished overall third in the Orienteering World Cup in 2004, and won a silver medal in the relay in the 2004 World Ski Orienteering Championships. He has competed in all fifteen World Orienteering Championships since his debut in 2004 until 2018, obtaining his first two medals in Inverness in 2015; in the relay and mixed sprint relay, respectively. His best individual achievements are fourth places in the sprint in 2005 and 2010.

Katarina (Allberg) Smith is a former Swedish, later Canadian orienteering competitor. She received a silver medal for Sweden on the relay at the 2001 World Orienteering Championships in Tampere, and a bronze medal in 1999.

In 2018, she won the Sky Marathon event at the Skyrunning World Championships, in her second skyrunning race ever. In 2021, she won the combined discipline at the World Championships of Ski Mountaineering. She competes for Stora Tuna OK in orienteering and Alfta-Ösa OK in ski orienteering. Alexandersson holds the record for the number of gold medals in a row at the World Orienteering Championships, winning 11 in a row between 2018 and 2022.

Simona Aebersold is a Swiss orienteering competitor. She is the daughter of Christian Aebersold, who won the World Orienteering Championships 3 times.
