Kate Hanly (born July 1993) is a Canadian former long track speed skater, who was active between 2004 and 2015. [1]

Contents

As a junior she participated at the 2009, 2010, 2011 2012 and 2013 World Junior Speed Skating Championships. Hanly became North American champion in 2012 in the 1000 metres. At the North American Championshpis she also won two silver and two bronze medals in 2009 and 2010. She made her ISU Speed Skating World Cup debut during the 2014–15 ISU Speed Skating World Cup season where she competed in five World Cup events in Obihiro, Seoul, Berlin and Heerenveen. [2]

Between 2009 and 2015 she had a total of 17 starts at elite national championships. She won at the 2015 Canadian Single Distance Championships the silver medal in the 1000 metres and the bronze medal in the 1500 metres. [2]
