Kate Keltie (born 23 February 1986) is an Australian former actress, best known for her role as Michelle Scully in the Australian soap opera Neighbours .
Keltie was born in Melbourne, Australia. She appeared in a number of television commercials and undertook drama, dance and voice training. [1]
Keltie was eight years old when she made the first of three guest appearances in police drama Blue Heelers . [2] [3] She also appeared in Full Frontal , [1] Halifax f.p. , and ten episodes of the English language show More Than Words for ABC. [4] [2] She played the role of Becky Daniels in children's sci-fi drama Thunderstone from 1999 until 2000. [2] [5]
In 1999, Keltie joined the cast of the soap opera Neighbours as Michelle Scully. [2] Being 13 at the time, Keltie completed her schooling with the help of an on-set tutor. [6] In 2002, Keltie created and organised The Showbiz and Entertainment Expo, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. [3] Following the success of the first expo, a second one was held in August 2003. [7] Keltie departed Neighbours in 2003 to return to school and pursue new roles. [3] She made a brief return to the serial in 2004. She admitted that when she left Neighbours in 2003, she did not think she would come back, but she really enjoyed her character's return storyline. [8] Keltie played Bec Cleary in Blue Heelers that same year. [9] Her last television appearance was a guest role in an episode of Rush in 2008. [4]
Keltie later worked in legal support in a law firm, and then moved into the recruitment-support industry. [10] In July 2017, she joined Australian recruitment agency "people2people". [11]
On 28 November 2022, it was announced that Keltie had been diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. A fundraising page was set up by her family, as she was unable to work while undergoing chemotherapy. [12] The page raised $37,362, before Keltie posted an update in February stating that she was cancer-free. She wrote "I recently received results of my latest scan and was told that there had been a complete metabolic response to diseased areas. In other words, it seems I am cancer-free." [13] Keltie confirmed that she would not need surgery and instead would undergo indefinite monthly chemotherapy infusions. The fundraising page was subsequently deleted. [13]
In 2023, Keltie reprised her role as Michelle Scully in Neighbours for an episode. [14]

Ken James is an Australian former actor and celebrity chef. He is most widely known for his role in children's TV show Skippy the Bush Kangaroo as Mark Hammond to which be became known locally and to international audiences Since his debut in Skippy, James continued to work in film, television and theatre for another 36 years. In December 2009, James was diagnosed with stage three non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which escalated to stage four by 2011. James started chemotherapy, and as of November 2020 the cancer is in remission. James was also actively involved in the Victorian Police Force as an unsworn member from 1993 to 2013.
Carla Bonner is an Australian actress, best known for playing the role of Stephanie Scully in the Australian soap opera drama Neighbours, a role she played from 1999 to 2010. She was also a guest on Celebrity Big Brother Australia in 2002. Following her departure from Neighbours, Bonner wrote a book called Hook, Line and Sink Her and guest starred in an episode of Wentworth. Nina Tucker is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Delta Goodrem. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 11 June 2002. Goodrem was approached by producers after they saw her video for her debut single. Goodrem, who had just signed a record deal, almost turned down the role of Nina as she felt the character did not suit her style of music. The role was rewritten for her and she joined the cast. A year later, she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and had to leave the show for treatment. Once her health improved, she made a return to Neighbours in 2004 to tie up Nina's storylines. In 2005, Neighbours celebrated its 20th anniversary with an episode that featured many ex-cast members, in which Goodrem reprised her role as Nina once more. She returned again in March 2015 for the show's 30th anniversary, and for the show's final episode on 28 July 2022.

Shannon Louise "Lolly" Allen is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 25 July 1994. Louise was played by Tessa Taylor from her birth, with Jiordan Tolli taking over the role a few months later. The character was written out in 2001 when Tolli's parents and the producers felt it was the right time for her to leave. In 2006, it was announced that Louise would be returning to Neighbours and Adelaide Kane was cast in the role, after winning the Dolly "Neighbours Next Big Stars" competition. Kane's contract was not renewed and Louise departed on 29 June 2007. The character returned for one episode on 4 October 2013 with Tolli in the role.

Connor O'Neill is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Patrick Harvey. He made his first screen appearance during the episode on 19 April 2002. Harvey was still in school when he won the role of Connor. He initially auditioned using an Australian accent, but later re-read for the part in his natural Northern Irish accent. The producers decided this would suit the role of Connor better. The character became well known for his friendship with Toadfish Rebecchi and his relationships with Michelle Scully, Carmella Cammeniti and Serena Bishop. One storyline saw Connor have a one-night stand with Lori Lee, which resulted in the birth of their daughter, Madeleine. Harvey decided to move on from Neighbours, so he could pursue other roles and Connor departed on 30 May 2006. In August 2012, it was announced Harvey had reprised his role for a four-week guest stint and Connor returned on 30 October. He departed on 27 November 2012.
Kate Kendall is a British-born Australian actress and director. She played Angie Piper in the long-running Nine Network Australian drama Stingers from 1998 to 2004. Kendall has appeared in television series The Librarians (2007), Rush (2010) and Conspiracy 365. She joined the cast of television soap opera Neighbours in 2013 as Lauren Turner. After leaving the role in 2017, Kendall became a director, and later producer, on the serial.
