Kathleen "Kate" Miller is an American actress and voice over artist. She played the role of Amanda Shaw in the television series Hightown from 2020 to 2024 and Vivian Abetemarco in several episodes of Blue Bloods . On Broadway she played Eileen in Moon Over Buffalo (1995) and Katherina in Amadeus (1999). Her voice over work includes the animated series Sealab 2021 , Frisky Dingo and Dora the Explorer , and the video games God of War Ragnarök , Gotham Knights , and the Guild Wars franchise.
Miller was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in West Virginia. She apprenticed at a summer stock theater before finishing high school at Interlochen Arts Academy. She moved to San Diego, California, where she obtained her BFA in theater. [1]
Miller moved to New York City. In 1995, she made her first Broadway appearance in the original production of Moon Over Buffalo as Eileen, [2] and played Katherina in the 1999 revival of Amadeus . [3] [4]
Television roles include Amanda Shaw in Hightown from 2020 to 2024 and Vivian Abetemarco in several episodes of Blue Bloods , and roles in The Trial of the Chicago 7 and Law & Order . She has done voice over work for video games such as Gotham Knights and God of War Ragnarök as well as the shows Frisky Dingo and Dora the Explorer . Miller voiced the character Debbie DuPree on the Adult Swim show Sealab 2021 , one of the segment's first original shows. [5] [6]
