Katie Glass (born June 1, 1944) is a retired professional wrestler, better known by her ring name "Diamond Lil". [3]

Professional wrestling career

Glass was trained by The Fabulous Moolah at her wrestling school in South Carolina. [3] She first appeared at Moolah's door in 1961 at the age of seventeen, wanting to be trained as a professional wrestler. Moolah would not accept Glass until her mother signed a permission slip. [2] Due to Moolah's love of diamonds and Glass's small stature, she was given the ring name Diamond Lil.

Throughout the 1960s, Glass frequently wrestled against fellow female midget wrestler Darling Dagmar. [4] Glass teamed with Ann Casey during a match in June 1971, which they lost to Dagmar and Vicki Williams. [5] In the late 1970s, she had several matches against female midget star Princess Little Dove.

Glass eventually retired as a professional wrestler due to a scarcity of midget opponents on the independent circuit.

Personal life

Glass moved in with Moolah at age of 17. [3] She lived with Moolah for over 40 years (and with Mae Young beginning in 1991), [3] until Moolah died. Moolah and Glass had a mother–daughter relationship. [6] Glass even referred to Moolah as "Ma". [3] In 1999, Moolah introduced Glass as "my damned midget" on The Daily Show hosted by Jon Stewart. Kai, however, lost the title at the inaugural WrestleMania event. She was later paired with Judy Martin, in a tag team that would become known as The Glamour Girls. The team held the Women's Tag Team Championship twice and the LPWA Tag Team Championship once. In her later career, Kai returned briefly to the WWF in 1994, challenging for the Women's Championship at WrestleMania X. She also wrestled for World Championship Wrestling under the name Patty Stonegrinder and held the NWA World Women's Championship.

Robin Denise Smith, better known by her ring name Rockin' Robin, is an American retired professional wrestler. The daughter of Grizzly Smith, she is a second-generation wrestler; her brother Sam Houston and half-brother Jake "The Snake" Roberts also wrestled. Wendi Richter American professional wrestler

Wendi Richter is an American retired professional wrestler. She began her professional wrestling career in companies such as the National Wrestling Alliance, where she teamed with Joyce Grable, with whom she held the NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship twice. In the 1980s, she joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). She held the WWF Women's Championship twice and feuded with The Fabulous Moolah over the title. She was also involved in a storyline with singer Cyndi Lauper called the "Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection". Richter, however, left the WWF after losing the championship in controversial fashion. She then worked in the World Wrestling Council and American Wrestling Association, where she held both companies' women's titles.

NWA World Womens Championship Professional wrestling womens championship

The NWA World Women's Championship is a women's professional wrestling world championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). The title was first won by Mildred Burke in 1937 defeating Clara Mortensen. The championship is currently held by Kamille, who is in her first reign.

She held the NWA United States Women's Championship once and the NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship four times—twice with Richter and twice with her other tag team partner Vicki Williams.
