Kaveri Priyam (born 22 October) [2] is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi television. [3] [4] She is best known for her portrayals of Kuhu Maheshwari Rajvansh in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke [5] and Dr. Monami Mahajan in Ziddi Dil Maane Na . [6] She was last seen as Amrita in Sony SAB's Dil Diyaan Gallaan . [7]

Early life

Kaveri Priyam was born on October 22 [8] in Bokaro, Jharkhand. [9] She did her schooling from Bokaro's St. Xavier School [10] and graduated from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. [11] After completing her studies, she came to Mumbai [12] and started her career as a model by doing print shoots and advertisements. [13] She has a younger brother, Ritesh Anand [14] with whom she runs a restaurant Konkan Chilly [15] in Mumbai. [16]

Career

Priyam debuted with Naagin 2 as Bee. [17] She then appeared in Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil and in Savdhaan India . [18] She made her film debut with Tishnagi in 2018. [19]

Priyam joined Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke , a Star Plus series, in 2019 as Kuhu Maheshwari Rajvansh opposite Ritvik Arora and Avinash Mishra, which proved to be her breakthrough role. [20] Simultaneously, she also appeared in Shahi's another production, a romantic drama series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai , for its integration episodes in March 2019 as Kuhu. [21]

In 2021, Priyam was seen as Dr. Monami Mahajan, [22] in Sony SAB show Ziddi Dil Maane Na [23] opposite Shaleen Malhotra [24] which ended on 4 June 2022. [25] She played Amrita Brar Dungarpal in Sony SAB [26] show Dil Diyaan Gallaan opposite Paras Arora from December 2022 to September 2023. [27]

It stars Shaleen Malhotra, Kaveri Priyam, Kunal Karan Kapoor, Diljot Kaur Chhabra, Aditya Deshmukh and Simple Kaul. The plot revolves around a young Special Action Force (SAF) team who find love while fulfilling their aspirations at the camp. The show is made under the banner of Sunshine Productions.
