Kazheto Kinimi (born 6 August 1954) is an Indian politician of Bharatiya Janata Party, Nagaland. [1] He is currently serving as a member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly from Akuluto Assembly constituency. [2] [3]

The Nagaland Legislative Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Nagaland. Nagaland became a state of India on 1 December 1963 and after election in January 1964, the first Nagaland Legislative Assembly was formed on 11 February 1964. In 1974, the strength of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly was increased to the present strength of 60 members.

Legislative Assembly elections in India were conducted for nine legislative assemblies in 2013. Voting in Chhattisgarh was held in two phases on 11 November and 19 November 2013. Elections to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly were held in February 1998 to elect members of the 60 constituencies in Nagaland, India. The Indian National Congress won a majority of the seats and S. C. Jamir was re-appointed as the Chief Minister of Nagaland. The number of constituencies was set as 60 by the recommendation of the Delimitation Commission of India.

The Fourteenth Nagaland Assembly is formed by the members elected in 2023 Nagaland Legislative Assembly election. Election were held in 59 constituencies on 27th February 2023 and 1 member elected unopposed from Akuluto. Votes were counted on 2nd March 2023.
