Life and career

Shuvo [6] was born on 10 December 1983 to Kazi Shah Alam and Fatema Khatun, in Bijoypur village, Gournadi thana in Barisal district. Shuvo is youngest among two brothers and a sister.[ citation needed ] He has been brought up in the midst of songs and music since childhood.

His initiation in music was through his father's hands, in tabla. Institutionally he learnt playing tabla first from “Esho Gaan Shikhi” in Khulna and then from “Udichi”. Shuvo was in Khulna as his father was in service in Eastern Jute Mills Ltd. Khulna. Although Shuvo had just learnt playing tabla he had a great fascination with singing. His elder brother Kazi Atikur Rahman's singing would inspire him, from whose diary he memorized many songs.[ citation needed ]

Shuvo then came to Dhaka for his graduation. Gradually he started singing songs on stage. At times he would play tabla. But his dream, singing, remained unfulfilled, until he suddenly met Shahid Vi of the band Durbin at Dhanmondi-8. Shahid vi told him that, “You sing folk song well. You can join Durbin.”

In 2009, with Shahid vi's inspiration, Kazi Shuvo's solo album Shada Mata was released, with Arfin Rumey's composition. The folk songs in the album: "Sona Bou", "Tumi Bine Akul Poran", "Ojhor Shrabon", "Nilima", etc. After that Shuvo sang in different mixed albums. A song titled [7] "Mon Pajor."

In 2012 Shuvo's 2nd solo album Shada Mata-2 was released, again with Arfin Rumi's composition. In 2013 he released another album, named Moner akash. In 2014 Shuvo's 3rd solo album Shada Mata-3 was released. This album was composed by Arfin Rumey and Rafi. “Diwana”, “Amar Bondhu”, “Tomar O Pirite Bondhu”. His 4th album Daga was released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr in the year 2016. [8] His 5th album Mayar agun was released on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Azha in the same year. [9]

Niyoti is a 2016 Indo-Bangladeshi romantic action drama film written by Abdullah Zahir Babu and directed by Jakir Hossain Raju. Produced by Abdul Aziz under the Jaaz Multimedia banner, the film stars Arifin Shuvoo and Falguni Rahman Jolly in pivotal roles. The film is also co-produced by Ashok Dhanuka under the banner of Indian production house Eskay Movies. The film is set in two different period of time. Shuvoo plays an arrogant millionaire entrepreneur and strict by nature, who eventually falls in love with a girl who possess a totally opposite personality, played by Jolly. The film centers around the struggle Shuvo faces to cure the love of his life, Jolly, who suffers from dementia, a long-term memory loss. Niyoti released in India on 10 June 2016 and Bangladesh in August 2016.

Mrittupuri: Kill Zone is a film about a Bangladeshi gangster crime war in Australia. This film is the directorial debut Zayed Rizwan, produced by Buddy Safi and Arijit Barua Shawon under their newly founded studio, Baz Films. This film marks the first Bangladeshi movie to be filmed and set entirely in Australia. The script was written by Faisal Roddy and the screenplay was conducted by Susmita Biswas. Nagib Hawk was responsible for the film's music composition, and Igor Breakenback, renowned Hollywood action director choreographed many of the action scenes. The first look teaser of the movie was released on 20 February 2016.

<i>Ostitto</i> 2016 Bangladeshi film

Ostitto (transl. Eternal) is a 2016 Bangladeshi romantic drama film directed by Anonno Mamun. The film stars Nusrat Imrose Tisha as an intellectually disabled girl and Arifin Shuvoo as her mentor. The plot centers on the love story of two youths, and the struggle of a mentor who helps intellectually disabled children to win an Olympic medal. Ostitto was released on 6 May 2016 in Bangladesh. The film received positive reviews from critics, who praised its performance and execution. The director announced in 2017 that Ostitto 2 will be released with new faces.

Syed Shahidul Islam is a Bangladeshi musician and composer. Generally known as Shahid and for his band Doorbin. He worked in 26 mixed album and released his three solo album.

Premik Number One is 2013 Bangladeshi romantic drama film. The film directed by Rakibul Islam Rakib and produced by Anwar Hossain Mintu. It feature an ensemble cast, which includes Shakib Khan, Apu Biswas, Nipun Akter, Misha Sawdagor, Bobita, Kazi Hayat, Sabrina Sultana Keya, Sujata, Amaan Reza, Shahnoor, Shahin Alam and Kabila. It is loosely inspired from two Telugu films: Balu (2005) and Ontari (2008).
