Keene, Nebraska

Keene is an unincorporated rural hamlet in Kearney County, Nebraska, United States. [1] The hamlet consists of a large granary co-op, a church and four homes.

History

A post office was established at Keene in the 1870s. [2] Keene was the name of a workman who temporarily lived in the area. [3]
