The National Provincial Championship, often simply called the NPC, is an annual round-robin rugby union competition in men's domestic New Zealand rugby. First played in 1976, it is the second highest level of competition in New Zealand alongside the Ranfurly Shield. It is organised by New Zealand Rugby (NZR) and since 2021, it has been known as the Bunnings NPC after its headline sponsor. A concurrent women's tournament is also held, the Farah Palmer Cup.

He last played against the Pacific Islanders in 2004 before making a comeback in the 2006 Autumn internationals. He made his Test debut on the All Blacks end-of-year tour in 2002 but, after three Tests, had to wait another 18 months to be recalled by Graham Henry for the Tri-Nations Tests in 2004. Robinson made a surprise return to Waikato's Air New Zealand Cup side in September 2006. In October 2007 he announced he was retiring from all rugby at the age of only 30. He cited his recurring left knee injury as the reason for his retirement.

Forest View High School is a state co-educational secondary school located on the western outskirts of Tokoroa, New Zealand. It opened in 1974 and serves students in years 9 to 13. It is one of two secondary schools at Tokoroa, the other being Tokoroa High School. Like many New Zealand state secondary schools of 1970s construction, the school was built to the S68 design, characterised by single-storey classroom blocks with concrete block walls, low-pitched roofs and internal open courtyards.

Keith Davis was a New Zealand rugby union player who played for both New Zealand and New Zealand Māori. He played for Auckland, and won the Ranfurly Shield in his first ever provincial game. After gaining All Blacks selection in 1952, Davis toured with the team to Europe and North America in 1953–54. He played extensively for New Zealand Māori between 1952 and his retirement in 1959; his time with the team included matches against both South Africa and the British Lions. Davis was awarded the Tom French Cup for Māori player of the year in 1952, 1953 and 1954.
Brad McCormick Weber is a New Zealand rugby union player, who currently plays as a halfback for Stade Français in the French Top 14. He previously played for Hawke's Bay in the National Provincial Championship and the Chiefs in Super Rugby. He has represented New Zealand internationally.

In his youth career, he was selected to play in the 2019 World Rugby Under 20 Championships for New Zealand and took part in Hamilton Boys' High School first XV, the top representative team in secondary school.
