Kenneth Carlon (5 October 1923 – 5 January 2004) [2] was an Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). [3]
Carlon served in the Australian Army during World War II. [4]
After first training with Melbourne in 1946, Carlon made his senior debut in 1949 and played 30 games over two seasons. He was subsequently was captain of Melbourne's Reserve side in 1951 and 1952. [5]
In 1953, Carlon was captain / coach of the Rennie Football Club in the Coreen & District Football League.
In 1954, Carlon was appointed as coach of the Cornwall Football Club in Launceston, Tasmania. [6]

The North Albury Football Netball Club, nicknamed the Hoppers, is an Australian rules football and netball club playing in the Ovens & Murray Football League (O&MFL). They are incorporated as part of the North Albury Sports Club licensed club at Bunton Park in North Albury, Albury, where they play their home matches. The club has won six O&MFL premierships. The Hoppers currently play in forest green guernseys with a gold vee and the "Hopper" logo on the right side. Previous guernsey designs included a dark green and gold design similar to the West Coast Eagles' classic wingtip design and a gold design with two dark green vees over the yoke. The club song is a version of "Join in the Chorus" with some words altered from the AFL Kangaroos version.
John Cameron Sheedy is a former Australian rules footballer and coach. He played for East Fremantle and East Perth in the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL) and South Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Sheedy is considered one of the greatest ever footballers from Western Australia, being the first player from that state to play 300 games in elite Australian rules football, and is a member of both the Australian and West Australian Football Halls of Fame.
