Kazungo Emmanuel Ndeya (born 23 December 1991 in kafue) popularly known as Ken Dumbo is a Zambian radio and television presenter and comedian. In October 2020, he won the Diamond TV Best Zambian Social Media Comedian of the year award at the Zambian Personality Awards. A year before, he won the Best Zambian Wedding MC Award. [1] [2] [3]

Early life and education

Dumbo was born in Soloboni, Kafue in 1991. He went to Kasenje Basic School between 2000 and 2008 then Naboye Secondary school between 2009 and 2011. He enrolled at Evelyn Hone College in 2014 in the School of Media Studies and graduated with a Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations in 2017. He is currently studying towards a degree in communications at Mulungushi University.

Career

Dumbo first started his media career as a presenter for the Born`n`Bred show on the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation TV in 2013. He joined a Lusaka-based radio station, Hone FM radio as a presenter in 2015 and hosted the Late Night, Evening Drive Breakfast Shows till 2017.

In 2018 he joined Pan African radio as a broadcast Show before joining Fresh TV Zambia the same as a TV show host and producer till 2019. That year, he won the best Wedding MC 2019 by the Perfects Events Zambia (PEZ).

In July 2021, he became the Presenter of the Comedy Time Show on ZNBC TV2 and The Zamtel Zangena Game Show on ZNBC Tv1 before joining Crown TV Zambia as presenter. He is currently a Radio Presenter at KWITHU FM where he won the Kwithu Presenter award in 2022. [4]

Dumbo lives in Lusaka, Zambia. He is married.
